Solve the system using Gaussian elimination with back substitution or Gauss Jordan elimination.?

either would be okai since the system has numbers that easily cancels out. Normally in Gauss elim, you only write the numbers and it uses less time .

Gauss elimination :doesnt work here to find a solution.
the only thing you can do is write x ( or one of the other variables ) explicit and then hook this into the other equation.

youstill dont have a solution then but again you have elimionate one variable and that is the most you can do.
