We are trying to work out how to express miles in decimal points but are a bit confused. If 6.5 miles means six and a half miles does 6.10 mean 7 miles. Hope someone can clear this up for us.

Three guys had a drink at my bar and i gave them a bill for $30.......
Each guy gave me $10.....
But I then realized the correct total was $25.........
Naughtily, I only reimbursed them $1 each so they had now paid a total of $27......
I kept the naughty $2..........My question is...if the drinks were $27, and I kept $2.00 that only adds up to $29 , so where did the other $1 go.......?

Three people are at dinner. The bill comes to £25. They each only have £10 notes and so put down £30. The waiter returns with the £5 change, in pound coins. The diners decide they cannot split £5 between three, so take £1 each and give the waiter a £2 tip. After then taking £1 back, the diners have paid £9 each towards the meal. The Waiter has a £2 tip.

If each diner paid £9 (9x3= 27) and the Waiter has a £2 tip the total amount of money spent is £29. The diners originally put down £30 - what happened to the remaining £1?????!!

If we travel on road in direction of an aeroplane, the plane appears to go fast but when travelling in opposite direction it appears still or with less speed. This contradicts relativity theory. Please explain.
