Suppose
x^(n) = a^(m) - b^(m)
where "m" is any number >2 & n>2.
Then the above equation doesn't hold for natural solutions of "x" , "a" & "b".
Is this marvellous fact provable?

A yo-yo is being spun and is moving in a circle 6.5 cm in radius at a speed of 24 cm/s
while making an unknown angle with the vertical.

a) Determine the angle .

The \rope" holding up the yo-yo is actually a rubber band whose
spring constant is 3.1 N/m. If the mass of the yo-yo is 0.10 kg,
determine the unstretched length of the rubber band.

A 50.0 kg skier is at the top of a slope. At the initial point A, the skier is 10.0 m vertically above the final point B.

(a) Set the zero level for gravitational potential energy at B, and find the gravitational potential energy of the skier at A and B. Then find the difference in potential energy between these two points.

(b) Repeat this problem with the zero level at point A.

(c) Repeat this problem with the zero level midway down the slope, at a height of 5.0 m.

I asked my high school astronomy teacher a few years ago what he meant by growing, since that would imply that there's some kind of new space it's taking up.

He said there's matter outside. Isn't everything made up of matter? Still don't know the answer to this one after all this time.

Find the following probabilities:
i. P(X>1)
ii. P(X<1)
iii. P(X=1)
iv. P(.5 v. P(.5
Now I'm not just someone looking for the answers, I actually want to figure out how to work them. They keep telling me to use the area formula, but I still can't figure out the length and width. If someone could please help, I would greatly appreciate it.
