But they were not related or belong to any groups with common interest, nor were they back from attending the same function. They were 17 total strangers who didn't know each other. Some were wearing T-Shirts (of different designs and brands), one person was wearing his company shirt, two (a customer and person at a fruit stall) were wearing casual jackets of different styles, a boy was wearing a full sports attire bearing the name of his sports event at school...etc, you got what i mean... and they are are standing/walking within 2-3 meters from each other... How could such a neat co-incidence happen?

Does anyone know if there is a website I can go to to give me an idea of what type of questions will be asked? I would like to be able to view different types of questions and answers that will be on this test so I am better prepared. Its a pre-employment test for a pipefitters apprenticeship that I hope to be able to get into this year. I did take the test last year and they told me that I came really close to being accepted ...so Id like to be able to answer more of the questions correctly to up my chances. Unfortunately for me I didnt even take a physics class in high school so for most of my answers I used my own 'common sense'. Any suggestions that could possibly help me out? Thanks.

I have a general idea how to do it:
I would use the distibutive property to combine like terms:

21-3x=6x-6 right?

then i would have to combine like terms again:
6x-3x=21-(-6x) right?

i would then have 3x=15 with x being 3?

Am i close? I get so confused on where to put the numbers when i am combining the like terms and when to change the symbols.
