What is the relationship between the lenght of a pendulum and its period (e.g. how wil the period of the pendulum change-proportionality- if you change the lenght from .1m to .2m)

and we took our first look at scales far more smaller than the smallest known particle, and discovered a sub-universe with galaxies and solar systems and complex lifeforms. And we realized the universe was actually like one of those Holland dolls where one fits into the other again and again and again- so the edge of our universe would actually end up being the perimeter of an atom on the next scale up?- wouldnt that be facinating?
