A friend of mine, named Sterling, has an oddly shaped chest. Its kind of concaved looking. When someone asked him about it he said that his heart was a size too small. I can't find anything about that sort of condition online. Is it a real body defect? He doesn't do alot of running or strenuous exercise as far as I know and he's never complained about being anemic or anything. Can people really have small hearts? What would you call that kind of condition?

I forget the exact name, but I swear it is true.
There was a news story about two years ago about this guy with a disease who had a certain antibody in his blood. Without his permission or knowledge at that time, they took the "unique' thing in his blood and patented it, and claimed it as their own. I'll research it and post it later. But what do you think about this, not only are they altering and patenting, they are ACTUALLY patenting what nature or flukes of nature make.
How could this be and how do they ethically get away with this?

A butcher is holding a string of chipolata sausages over a set of weighing scales, the lowest one being just above the scales.

A customer asks for all the sausages and the butcher says that he will let go of the top of the string, dropping the sausages into the scales, and he will only charge the customer for half of the highest reading on the scales (i.e. the weight shown by the scales will go up and up as more sausages fall in, and the butcher will charge for half of the maximum reading). The customer agrees.

Is the customer overpaying or underpaying, and by what percentage?
