A friend of mine, named Sterling, has an oddly shaped chest. Its kind of concaved looking. When someone asked him about it he said that his heart was a size too small. I can't find anything about that sort of condition online. Is it a real body defect? He doesn't do alot of running or strenuous exercise as far as I know and he's never complained about being anemic or anything. Can people really have small hearts? What would you call that kind of condition?

Pectus excavatum or the opposite, pectus carinum (pigeon breast) can be associated with several different syndromes, some of which also sometimes have cardiac abnormalities but none of which could be described as a "heart two sizes too small". A hypoplastic left ventricle can result in a slightly smaller heart, but maybe that is how he has learned to explain his situation to inquiring minds.

If there were a word it would be something like microcardia or hypotrophic cardiomyopathy, but I have never heard either of those terms.

The condition is called pectus excavatum or commonly "sunken chest." It is cause by the abnormal way the ribs and the sternum grow, and has nothing to do with the size of the person's heart.

As far as I know, only a Grinch can have a heart two sizes too small.

i think of the concern is that Chihuahuas by using definition have "terrier like traits", meaning they are no longer pushovers, and require a reliable hand. maximum all of us isn't able to dealing with ANY reliable minded dogs, and function a tendency to work out chihuahuas as fragile little creatures who might desire to be babied, extremely than disciplined. the familiar chihuahua is sensible adequate to take earnings of that. :o) I even have had 2 chis over the final ten years - one replaced right into a foul little despot who, after some considerable battles, became into an remarkable little dogs, and who i will continuously omit. the 2nd got here to me as a foster dogs - surrendered by using her previous proprietor because of the fact of her barking. She nevertheless has an attitude, and we've fist(paw?) fights periodically, yet she has come a protracted way from once I picked her up on the shield. Who is conscious?
