1) Convert 0.5mm into meters:
0.5mm=0.0005m
2) Convert micro and nano meters into meters:
1micrometer= 0.000001m
1nano meter=0.000, 000, 001m
3)Work out what 0.0005m is as a fraction of the above numbers:
0.0005m / 0.000001m = 500micro meters
0.0005m / 0.000000001m=500000nano meters

10^-6 m=1micrometer
10^-9 m=1 nanometer
now u can easily do calculation part.

well 0.5 millimeters is 0.0005m
and a micro metre is 0.000001m
and a nanometre is 0.000000001
so how many 0.5 milimetres are there in 1 micrometre=0.002
and how many 0.5 milimetres are there in 1 nanometre=0.000002
