My medicine cabinet has plastic shelves and i just noticed they are getting holes where the plastic is just falling through the bottom as if they were melted and dried mid drip however i know they have not been above room temperature. Any ideas what could be causing this?

long after, with a residual image or light that we might be able to resconstruct; someday with some sort of high power "telescope"? like what we are doing with the dinosaur fossils.

Black holes can be thought of as sort of electro-magnetic "grounds" between different neighboring dimensions; even points of contact between the "= & -" of inter-relating membranes of matter and energy. They may be pathways between different Dimensions or Universes but we'll never know firsthand in our lifetimes at least. They are pathways to the "lost" dark matter and energy scientists can't seem to find yet.

Apparently, some years back, there was a rumor about a Star Trek fan who was trying to build an antigravity device and even claimed to have completed it. I was just curious if anyone else had heard the rumor and if anyone knows of any scientific research into machines or devices that might be able to disrupt or produce gravitational fields.

Assume each container can hold as many balls as you wish, ie All N balls can go into 1 container. Also all the balls must be in a container, ie you cannot have a situation where a ball is in no container.

E.g. If we have 2 balls and 2 containers, then the number of ways to split the balls is 3

2 - 0
0 - 2
1 - 1

Please provide simple explanation for how you derive the answer.

I'm thinking this is the process in which the lysosome is invalved in.

During phagocytosis, does the lysosomes take in wastes at high pressure and release the waste at low pressure. Or the other way around?

Or am I thinking this happens in the lyzozyme of lyzozome?

Thanks for the help-

In a previous posting, regarding manned satellites beyond the Van Allen Belts, Paul G. mentioned "The international space station is in LEO (low earth orbit) and is an area of space between 200 and 1200 km and within the Van Allen belt. Any higher and the astronauts would be affected by the radiation and could suffer serious health side effects. The astronauts that went to the moon purposely piloted their craft through a weaker area of the Van Allen Belt to minimize their exposure to the radiation." If NASA has no suits to protect the space travelers from the deadly life threatening gamma and x-rays such as those present at Chernobyl, then how is it possible that those traveling through a similar force field of radiation, as is present in the Van Allen Belts, able to survive? Where is this "weaker area" which Paul G is referring to? The belts are very thick (miles deep). How does one avoid that in a space suit?
