If you mean "ether", yes. It's a highly volatile liquid at room temperature & is also highly flammable. It was once widely used as a surgical anesthetic. It's sometimes used as a cleaning solvent or as a starting fluid for hard-to-start cars. It's really pretty dangerous stuff.

You mean ether? Yes it's a chemical. It will knock you out. Oh and it's said that it's also a carcinogen.,.... this is why it is no longer used to put people to sleep.
