Trying to Conceive - March 2007

I want to know how to test myself to knw as soon as possible if am pregnant? Do I need to buy special equipment to do it?

I have a healthy little girl who is 2 1/2 and my husband and I will be trying in a few months to get pregnant. I thought we wanted 3-4 children however we came to the conclusion that only one more was in our future. We want a baby boy! I heard about the Shettles Method and picked up a copy of hte book. A good read even if you decide not to use the method. Did it work for you and would you try it again?

I have been off the pill for over a year now. Me and my husbad have been trying to have a baby for over a year with no luck. I have never had a regular cycle. Can anyone give me some advice on getting pregnant. We really wanna have one sometime this year.

Had my period last month and was suppose to get it on the 20th of march. But did not get it. Usually I am never late. And took pregnancy test but came out negative. Could I still be pregnant?

My periods for the last 12 monts have come every 33 days, however last month my period came on day 36.
I have been off the pill for 12 months and trying to concieve for 5 months. I am now on day 43 and still no period.
I am possibly at risk of ectopic pregnancy due to surgery scarring on my left fallopian tube. Had peiod like cramps for 5 days but still no period. Negative test result 4 days ago and also today. Could i be pregnant? Any advice? Fingers crossed

Found out at 10 weeks I had a Blighted Ovum. My DR told me to wait 2 cylces before conceiving again. I just had my 2 cycle that ended yesterday. Reason why I'm asking is that I had all the pregnancy symptoms except for morning sickness. Me and my husband want to start trying agian. I'm not trying to get my hopes up, but I want to make sure that when I do get pregnant again that I get some kind of morning sickness. I know that I'm putting my foot in my mouth but I think that if I have morning sickness then I'll know that I conceived and know that there is a baby growing inside of me. With a Blighted Ovum I had no baby in there the whole time and my husband & I always touched my belly thinking that a baby was in there. Has anyone had a Blighted Ovum and conceived afterwards.

I wish to get pregnant so I reduced breastfeeding my baby to only nights but she hardly takes her mouth off the breast till morning, can this affect my ovulation?

i'm reading all of the precations and side affects for it and i'm not sure if i sould take them.is it realy that bad? i'm 29 i have two kids already 9 and 10 boy and girl. i'm just remarried and i want another baby or two. he has no kids and wants them realy bad .it just they sound like they make you realy sick and ahh fat .but i have been trying for over a year and have not got pregnant.so i think i do need them.and do they realy work.

Can I remove my own IUD? When the doctor said that there was the possibility it could fall out on its own, it made me think It wasn't that hard to remove- kind of like a tampon.....Does anybody know? I hate to pay a doctor for something I can do myself.

I am not on birth control and take no measures to stop from getting pregnant. My cycle is, for the most part regular between 28-31 days. I am overweight but from the reproduction side ok..as per my doctor. What can I do to ensue conception? Any advice is welcomed! Please help!!

i have been taking ovulex for almost a month now. my period was supposed to start thursday the 22 (yesterday) but it didnt. even though im not having any pregnancy symptoms at all besides being late, i took a pregnancy test this morning but it was negative. could it be the ovulex messing up my cycle?

I'M 13dpo, My period is due tomorrow ( or yesterday), but I've had no PMS signs, but some pregnancy signs... I tested with First response on Tuesday with FMU and I tested this morning with FMU. Def nothing on Tuesday...there could have been something this morning, but i'm straining my eyes looking at it.

I can't stand waiting ANYMORE - should I go buy a cheap test...see if that makes a difference?

I'm going out of my mind....

As I told ya'll before I dindn't have a period for 3 months, well ever since December. So this Saturaday I saw my period again, but it only stay on for 5 days. But my friends said it would stay on for aleast 3 weeks since I didn't have on in awhile. So could I still be pregant.

Ok I know this is kinda gross, but serious answers only please. Ok, so I am not an idiot...but we are TTC and every time we have intercourse, a lot of the sperm/fluid leaks out, even if I lay on the bed for a long period of time. Is this normal? I know some leakage is normal. Can I still get pregnant if not all of the fluid stays in me?

I want to have a 1 baby boy and 1 baby girl and I want to plan accordingly. Has anybody tried the above website for gender selection based on fertility calender? I know that there are other way to gender select like PGD and sperm sorting but I am not so hell bent that I want to try unnatural ways. Has anybody tried the above method and does it make sense? Also, are there any other natural ways you can suggest?
Please spare me the lecture about playing god, I am just curious if it works.

I am using the clear blue fertility monitor and the clear blue test strips. The monitor showed peak fertility on Monday the 19th and when I did a test strip tuesday morning the 20th it was also positive. Then on Wednesday morning the test strip was negative. Does that mean that I probably ovulated on Tuesday the 20th sometime? The reason I'm asking is one, I felt a pinch yesterday Thursday the 22nd which I've heard people feel when they ovulate but that would be 3 days after my surge. Could this be ovulation that late. I thought the test were fairly accurate. And also my husband and I only had sex on sunday the 18th and monday the 19th. Did I miss my chance of getting pg. Or will the sperm most likely still be there if I ovulated on thursday?

I am on my first cycle of Clomid, and already took it as prescribed. I am on CD15, and still not ovulating according to the test kits. My periods are normally irregular, so I do not know when I actually ovulate. But I think on a normal cycle, I should be ovulating right about now. Wondering if I don't ovulate (or do not have an LH surge on the tests kits, but am ovulating and don't know it) can I still get pregnant?
