I know someone who was in a very minor car accident, it moved her IUD just enough and got pregnant.

NO an iud is a device planted into your uterus. You probably could get pregnant by some sort of really bad luck but you would not be able to keep the baby and would most likely miscarry due to IUD. You may really want to do some research on them i had one many years ago A) if you have no kids it will be very painful when they put it in B) again with no kids most likely it will come out again painful C) they are much safer then years prior but still it would be my absolute last choice!

NO, an IUD is over 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.

If you have an iud you should NOT try to get pregnant, it will kill either you or the baby. If you find you are pregnant, GET IT OUT ASAP. iud increases the risks of ectopic pregnancy and also perforation of the uterus if you are pregnant.

I additionally had the copper one for almost 6 years. i became suggested by ability of my physician to attend a minimum of two months earlier all of us started attempting. It took us 2 months after that as quickly as we concieved, I dont think of it had something to do with the IUD nevertheless. i became protecting song of my ovulation and that i think of I had ignored it.. two times LOL good success!

I don't think so. The IUD is supposed to PREVENT pregnancy.
