Take prenatal vitamins or multivitamin and folic acid suppliment. Make sure you are eating a balanced diet and not drinking, etc.
Then, after you have sex, put your legs in the air. It sounds funny, but it's an old school trick. You're employing gravity to pull the semen where it needs to go.
I did this after stopping birth control in July of 03 and had a positive pregnancy test in my hand on August 27th, 03. My grandmother told me she did this to get pregnant twice and found it helps speed things up.
As for knowing when you're pregnant, I'm stumped, 'cause I don't know how to tell either.

Not all women ovulate within a few days of the 14th day after their period, so that really isn't a reliable way to time sex correctly for conception. Some women have shorter or much longer cycles, and if you only have sex during that time, you are not going to catch the egg. Also, the egg is not released three days before your period - there must be at least 10 days between ovulation and menstruation for the egg to be fertilized and implant properly. Anything less than 10 days is known as a luteal phase defect and results in a decreased chance of conception.
I highly recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. Charting your temperatures and noting the changes in your cervival fluid is by far the best way to maximize your chance of conception. Yes, your temperatures will only tell you that you have already ovulated, but your cervical fluid will be the best indicator of when you are about to ovulate. When it becomes slippery and like the consistancy of eggwhite, it's time to do the deed! You can also check the position and firmness of your cervix if you are comfortable doing that, as that is also a very good indicator of when you are going ovulate (I never did so I don't remember what indicates ovulation is about to occur, but I think it's high position and soft).
Another great resource is fertilityfriend.com. They have a lot of information on charting and conception. Good luck to you.

This book is a must read for any woman trying to get pregnant. I was devastated and so was my husband after being told by my fertility specialist at age 38 that I had no option but to consider adoption or donor eggs (according to my doctor I was out of eggs and gave me 4% chance of getting pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying a baby to full term). After much research and dozens of hours reading infertility related articles and posts online, I have found this book! I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong as I followed step by step guidelines. After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy. Nine months after that I did everything in the book again and after 2 months of trying I got pregnant again and gave birth to another perfect little boy. I would recommend anyone with an open mind to read this book. It just might be the answer to your prayers.

Definitely track your ovulation. There is a bunch of calculators online to help out. You can also be eating healthy, and taking the vitamins now, if you aren't yet. Also, it may be the way you are having sex too. Make sure he is on top, or behind. And then lay around for like 10-15 minutes after with your hips elevated on a pillow or something to help those little swimmers to the right place. Have your partner drink more caffeine, and cool down a bit before, no super hot baths. Also, make sure he is saving up his swimmers for a deposit, not flushing them away, if you know what I mean. Good luck.

Some females discover it convenient to get pregnant, others do not. The key to fitting pregnant is settling on while ovulation will arise. A girl is ordinarily capable to get pregnant for approximately five days each and every month, while ovulation happens. On common, ovulation happens 12 to sixteen days earlier than the menstrual interval starts. Because sperm can are living for three to five days in a girl's reproductive tract, it's feasible to end up pregnant if sex happens a number of days earlier than ovulation. TIPS: # For the common couple, having intercourse as soon as consistent with day supplies the first-rate risk of having pregnant. # To optimize your probabilities of having pregnant, after your accomplice ejaculates, stay to your to your again together with your hips multiplied for 20-half-hour. # The girl-on-best role isn't best for being pregnant, in view that ejaculate might go with the flow out. Good Luck & Don't Forget to Have Fun!

My suggestion is to buy a ovulation monitor and watch that closely, even if your periods are irregular. This can really help. Also look into a quality supplement such as Ovulex. There website is www.yourfertilitychoice.com. It worked for me. I watched my ovulation closely and took Ovulex and got pregnant the following month. Maybe it was a coincidence? But I did get pregnant. Good Luck!

check your discharge everyday. when you notice you have eggwhite discharge and its a lot of it very wet then do sex like crazy lol. dont get up immediately afterwards but try to elevate your hips and stay still for 15 minutes. also have your man wear boxers, so he has a higher sperm count. Have fun babymaking!!

You can try conceving about three days before the day of your period so when your egg drops it will more than likely be fertalized. Good luck!
