I have a healthy little girl who is 2 1/2 and my husband and I will be trying in a few months to get pregnant. I thought we wanted 3-4 children however we came to the conclusion that only one more was in our future. We want a baby boy! I heard about the Shettles Method and picked up a copy of hte book. A good read even if you decide not to use the method. Did it work for you and would you try it again?

I used it to try for a girl, and got pregnant the first month I tried. I had my little girl :)

I have had 3 friends who have used it and it's worked for all of them. I think when trying for a boy it's not as successful because all's it does it gives the Y sperm the first go at the egg, and if they dont get the job done the X sperm will get a turn too. Whereas when trying for a girl you eliminate a lot of the male sperm, so it decreases your chances of getting pregnant, but if you do get pregnant you have more of a chance of getting the girl. Good luck!!

I have not personally used Shettles Method. However, I've used my father in-law's method which actually worked for my wife and I. We now have our first baby - it's a girl. My father in-law's method worked for his our family with 5 boys and 5 girls of his own. Check the source link below for more information and look for "Choose The Sex Of Your Baby GIRL or BOY - 100% NATURAL". Hope this helps!

I read into it after conceiving our second (and last) child, but according to the book I should have 2 girls and I do!
