I am on it and haven't had any side effects except for hot flashes. I think you should take it.

I have conceived all 3 of my pregnancies on Clomid. The first time I got pregnant the first month on Clomid. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage (nothing to do with the Clomid). It took me 8 months to conceive again on it, but I have a beautiful baby girl. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant again. It took me 6 months to conceive on Clomid. The side effects I had were; irritability, some night sweats, and I did gain weight, but only about 1 lb./per month. You only take it for 5 days, so the side effects didn't last long. If you are really unsure about Clomid, ask your doctor about Femera. My doctor was going to switch me to it if I hadn't conceived this pregnancy on my 6th round. He said Femera works the same way as Clomid, but with less side effects. Good luck!

I am taking clomid now and I have for the last 3 or 4 months now. I have not gotten pregnant yet, but it is soon coming. I have not had any side of effects from taking it. No weight gain or anything. I do get hot flashes from time to time. Go for it. Take the clomid and I wish you and your husband the best of luck. God bless you!

They list precautions and side effects for every drug - even for the most benign drugs the list is pages long! You don't have to worry that much - the FDA makes them disclose every little thing, and actually many of those reported side effects were probably not caused by the drug anyway. (My husband works for a pharmaceutical company, so he knows a lot of the details on what it takes to get a drug to market.)

I've done two rounds of clomid so far and I haven't had any side effects. Some people do have side effects, but I wouldn't worry too much. Try it. If the side effects bother you, you can talk with your doctor and try something else.

I am 26 and I took them. They didn't bother me although I'm sorry to say they didn't work for me either. but I know some women that took them and they got preg. clomid didn't hurt them.
