Trying to Conceive - March 2007

My husband and I have been TTC, so far with no success, its come to my attention that I think I have a short luteal phase/luteal phase defect (which could be the reason why im not getting pregnant) because my luteal phase is only about 8 or 9 days and a fertilized egg needs anywhere from 10-16 ive heard....I just bought vitamin B6, as I have heard it helps to lengthen your luteal phase by a few days. Im just wondering if anyone here has had a short luteal phase and tried taking B6, and if you had any success in it lengthening your luteal phase, resulting in a successful pregnancy?? If so, how long did it take you to get pregnant once you started it?? Did you take one everyday?? Just looking for anyone else in my shoes...Thanks!!
P.S. Im trying B6 before any progesterone creams or any of the BIG meds like clomid and stuff because id rather not have to take them if I dont have to. Of course I will if thats what it takes but I just want to try this first and see if its successful!

I have never used protection with any of my partners - since the age of well under 16 the reason being my entire life Ive wanted a child but Ive strangley always doubted it. I am 23 now and been with my husband 5 years now and nothing. It is causing depression-I have always had really bad periods, the last one lasted 2 1/2months. I spoke to my Dr previousley who said I was too young and things will settle. Nearly 2 years ago I had a scan to check for polycistic ovaries and they were all clear-however i couldnt be examined as I was having a period at the time. Can I demand that I am tested to see if I can have children, at least then I can move on with my life and look to adopt. If anyway has any advice of comments please help!

I get to do Clomid and two Gonal-f RFF Pens (300 IU) next cycle to see if I'll finally ovulate. I've done the Clomid only thing four times before with no ovulation. What can I expect with the Gonal-f?

hi my husband and I have been having unprotected sex for about 2.5 - 3 months. I was on the bc patch for 2 years before that and bc pill for about 4 years before the patch...My last period was really short and only heavy for one day which is not like me at all...and then about 3 weeks after that i thought i was gettin my period again but it was just light spotting. I dont really have any other symtoms though and im going to take a test tomorrow when my husband gets home...do you think it will be positive?!

Ended my period March 14th. Then had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on March 16th, 22nd, and the 23rd, and he didnt pull out. I got my period yesterday. I have been having early pregnancy symptoms though. Could I be pregnant still?
And my periods are usually regular and I should be starting in a week and 3 days but I got it yesterday :/

is it possible to have sex every two days three times before my period and get pregnant. i was told from a person on here that if you have sex the day before your period its possible to get pregnant but you would still get your period. is this true. i got my period on the day i was suppose to. is it still possible. feeling really nauseated. and other symptoms.

We've been trying to get pregnant since June 2006 and nothing. The doctor won't put me on fertility drugs until my husband gets tested. I'm fine. My husband says he doesn't have any problems and won't get tested. Can I, or should I, pressure my doctor or should I switch doctors?

o'kay I feel like I've been on here religiously but I'm just so confused. To catch you up I've been birth control pills for 4 years until Jan. when I stopped before my pack was done. I got my period a few days after and it lasted for 5 days, like normal. Well now I'm 54 days into my cycle with no period in sight! I thought that I might get on Friday because I felt crampy and kind of moody...but it never came. Now I feel like normal...what should I do? I took a test last week and it came out negative, you would think I would have enough hcg to dectect but it's not! I don't know if it's all in my head and I'm subconsciously holding off my period or if my body is trying to get used to not being on the pill. What do you think? Any advise will help! and yes I've had unprotected sex with my fiance at least 2x a week. and we are now trying to conceive.

ok, me and my husband had intercourse on day 12, 13, and 14 of my cycle. the ovulation test strips weren't positive at that time, but we had intercourse anyway just in case........then, on day 20 and 21, the test strips were positive, so we had intercourse on both of those days. i heard it was best to have sex the days before and during ovulation. what do you think the chances of us conceiving are ??? we are both 22 and very healthy.. thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello... I am only 10 days past ovulation... So I am not technically late yet... But I couldn't resist testing this morning... I took a $tree test and a FAIIINNNNT pink line showed up before the 10 min mark... but about 15- 20 mins later it was no longer pink and completely looked like an evaporation line... So I dunno if it was a positive or negative... I was just wondering if anyone has ever had that happen and been pregnant... We been trying so hard since I m/c last year...

And yes... I am gonna test again in a couple days... Thanks bunches...

I am 28 years old and my husband and me have a 2 year old son and had no trouble getting pregnant with him, but have now been trying for almost a year for number 2! My cycles were about 34 days long, but after being on clomid for 2 months, it seems that my cylces are getting longer! I am ovulating very late and the clomid does not seem to be changing my ovulation patterns! I'm not sure what the next step is???

I've read that some women can take up to a year to get pregnant after the depo injection but the I've heard a lot of women say they got pregnant after one to two months. I've read up on this and it doesn't matter how long you've been having the injection for? So confused

Hey am confused and was wondering there was anyone out there that can help me!!!

What is the difference in colour of ovulation bleeding to implantation bleeding and how long do the bleed's generally last for?

A bit of my history................

I have two cycles one that lasts for 29 days and another that lasts for 39 days! I had light spotting and brown discharge that was a bit bitty, that lasted for about 3 and half days!!!!? If this happened if i'm in the day of my 29 day cycle then It maybe implantation, if it is the 39 day cycle it could be ovulation bleeding.

Help?

I was 10 days late and took pregnancy test that both showed negative but I finally got my period after being 10 days late. I was having strange cravings which have no gone away and mad heart burn which has now gone away however I am feeling very ill like every time I eat things in the morning I can't finish them because I feel I am going to throw it up.......Could I still be pregnant even though I started my period?

I tested on the wednesday Negative on a hpt. Last night I went to the hospital having what I called the flu. They gave me an injection through veins and also two respiratory therapys. Also they did a CBC and also they were gonna do a pumonary xray. And then I got worried and ask the doctor if he could do a pg blood test.

Guess What everything in my blood is excellent. THE ONLY THING THAT MADE ME FEEL THAT WAY WAS THE FACT THAT I"M PREGNANT!!
YAY!!

Now I don't have any symptoms except my breast look reddish brownish and also I have lower back pain. And this sickness that doesn't make me vomit just gawk from Coughing so hard!!
What has been your experience is this what you call pregnancy sickness A.K.A MORNING , EVENING NGHT sckness?

We've been TTC for almost 17months.
I had an HSG in february, and am now 9 days late for my period. I've had odd spotting (very dark, and mucus like) and other random symptoms. Didn't really think anything of it. Last night, I was awoken at 530am, I had to vomit. I have taken 3 negative pregnancy tests, the last one was 4 days ago. (Tomorrow I am going to call my gynie to order a blood test. (if i were to of gotten pregnant, it would have been 3 weeks ago by now)
What do yinz think?! Wish me luck!
