Trying to Conceive - March 2007

I've been on the pill for 6 years. I stopped taking the pill 2 weeks ago. I counted back my last period and this is the week I should be most fertile. I've had a pain in my left side and it hurts to sit almost like something is hitting inside. It hurts to even push on my pelvic area. Does this sound like ovulation?

My husband and I are trying to conceive. I have been on plenty of pregnancy web sites and most of them have a link to ovulation calculators. I was wondering on how acurate these calculators were and if I should follow them. Also, is it possible to have symptoms during ovulation-- I was at work yesterday (and according to the "calculator" I was fertile,) and i felt like a ten second hot flash and stomach pain... I also had a headache that whole day....could these be ovulation symptoms?

made love , in the end she didn't get pregnant , she was telling me we should've "been together" from 3 on 3 days , why not daily, is my "seed " not mature enough if daily ???Thank-you .

Me and my hubby just started trying to conceive 2 months ago but I been tracking all my fertility signs(CM,BD).I never had regular periods,my cycles are 53 days long but I am ovulating on cycle day 38. I know women that got pregnant have only 1-4 periods a year.My husband is healthy all the way and I have anemia but I'm taking prenatal vitamins now.My period was always very heavy but only 5 days long until my last period on March 16 when I just started prenatal vitamins 15 days prior to that.It was still 5 days long but every day was much lighter than usual. Do you think the vitamins can help me conceive?

This morning because I was having my period but no cramping (I usually have a day of excrutiating pain once a month). I got two lines, as in pregnant. I noticed the box said it would expire in 2 months. So I went to the store bought a nice fresh box, waited 7 hours and took another test. It said not pregnant. (I was preg last month for a couple of weeks but had a miscarriage and have no hcg left from that episode) Any advice? (The doctor doesn't want to see me for two weeks)

well.iv been ttc for 9 months now and was getting a bit worried,i felt the regular cramping,sore breasts as i do when i get my period, well i am now 3 days late...with cramping....could i be pregnant?im still getting cramps like my period is about to come. my husband also told me my nipples got 2 times bigger then it was before and they itch sooo much and r also peeling. so could i be pregnant? is it normal to get this much cramping in early pregnancy?when should i test...im so scared it might be a -.

Does it help? can it ensure pregnancy? Side effects? etc...Have not made a Doctors appt yet...thought I would get some advise from those who have actually taken it! ...please tell me what you think. Also, ovulation times have been really hard to perdict. kits dont seem to be working..Is clomid the answer?...Thanks!

Is this true? We are going to start trying and I am overweight my doc says I am ok and will need to be super careful to not gain a lot more weight when pregnant ( I can go on a crazy pregnant binge lol) she also said that in terms of carrying a baby, the complication vary in everyone and a 110 lb person could have just as much if not more than a 300lb person. I am eatling better and excercising (down 10 lbs so far) and an goign to keep it up. But the thought of not conceiving b/c I am overweight really boggles my mind.My cycle is ok and everything on the inside is "text book" perfect (so says the doc)..please help, any other BB moms out there??? Please dispell this for me....thanks a bunch!

My husband and I think we're almost ready to start trying for our first baby. I'm in graduate school, though, to switch careers to become a teacher. Do you think I'd be better off having a baby while in graduate school (and possibly have to postpone student teaching for a semester) or wait until I finish school and postpone becoming a teacher?

My husband and I have been married for a year, living together for two before getting married, and dating for three before that. I'll be 29 by the time I finish school, and we do want two or three children.

I have been on the injection pill for just under a year but have recently come off of it to start a family. I have been told it can take up to a year to get out of your system. As i wasn't on it for very long i wondered roughly how long it takes to wear off?

my last period was march 11,2007 ...and my hubby & i have been having sex like crazy (although were trying ,we also do it b/c it great!)...anyhow, i belive today and the next 3-4 days are my most fertile days ...yesturday we had sex like 4 times which may have been my most fertile day (god willing !) ...do u think that having so much sex decreases the sperm count?

specifically but I was hoping that someone may be able to give us some pointers. In terms of "time off" this is the best time for us to conceive and plan for the start of our family. We have not tried before (but have not takes precautions either) My cycle used to be every 28 days but has recently changed to 28-35 days so perdicting ovulation has been slightly difficult. The kits dont seem to work for me...and I am starting to feel like if we cant start how are we going to have out dream of becoming parents?! please help!! Any and ALL advice is welcomed...any ideas on guaranteeing a boy or a girl...throw those in too!!! : )

I have been TTC and recently had a UTI(urinary tract infection). There is a possibitlity that I conceived before I went to the doctor for the infection. I was prescribed Ampicillin and I heard that it can affect some urine tests. I am trying to find out if it would cause a negative result on a pregnancy test and what other tests it may affect. The dosage I had was 500MG taken 3 times a day for one week. I have already taken a couple tests already and had neg results. Anyone with useful info would be appreciated.

I should be starting my period on the 29th. I have had a few symptoms...a little lightheaded, heartburn, bloated. But these could be from anything?!?! Have any of you been pregnant but not really felt many symptoms at first??

I am not sure if I had a miscarriage or chemical pregnancy..Has anyone been through it that can help??
I was 7 days late for my period, I am usually never late, I am 28-30 days on target...I had all the symptons, but tested 3 times, and was negative.
Two days ago, I had horrible cramps (which I never have normally either) then I started bleeding. I did not think much about it, but when my hubby and I had sex Sat. night, I bled very heavily, and when in the shower after word, I noticed a piece of something in the water, it did not go down the drain as typically blood would...it was a small (navy bean size) red hard ball looking thing, attached to a pink about 1/2 inch ling stringy thing. There it was also attched to a smaller red ball with a smaller pink little cord.
I freaked, because I have never seen that.
Does anyone know what that might have been? Was that tissue?? I feel silly even asking, but I know it was something.
I have an appt tomorrow with my OB.

TTC so yeah would be a good thing. Its only been a month and I haven't missed my period yet. Is a faint positive line still a positive. I used the EPT and got a really faint line but can't seem to find the paper to it to see if really faint is still positive. Can anyone help me out here?

One month ago I took two pregnancy test about 2weeks after my period. Early Response was a faint positive and the EPT was negative. I started feeling nausea, itchy breast (not sore) light cramping and daily headaches. Then 2 weeks later my period came. My bf and I had unprotedted sex 3 straight days before my period and every day for one week straight starting one day after my period. The symptoms came again. I took a Clearblue pregnancy test on yesterday morning but it was negative. I still have 9 days until my period is due, what should I do?

Can Endometriosis return after surgery that I had 2 months ago? I am not taking birth control because I was going to get pregnant in June, and I'm not taking birth control, but I have been having some cramping again, even after my period, etc. Is that normal?
