my last period was march 11,2007 ...and my hubby & i have been having sex like crazy (although were trying ,we also do it b/c it great!)...anyhow, i belive today and the next 3-4 days are my most fertile days ...yesturday we had sex like 4 times which may have been my most fertile day (god willing !) ...do u think that having so much sex decreases the sperm count?

well in my case...do u think im effecting my chances of becoming pregnant?...and does ALWAYS stay in you for 3 days?...

Daily is fine... I might be concerned that 4x/day will kill your husband, though ;) Most docs'll recommend you go at it daily around your peak fertility.
His sperm concentration will drop slightly if he has daily intercourse: however, if he's got a good sperm count with lots of healthy wigglers, it shouldn't make a difference in your likelihood of success. After all, they're all going where they ought to be:)

I believe sperm count does drop if he's doing it that often. However, I don't think it matters. First of all, you've got plenty in you. It's not like they die off in between sex. Second of all, so he lets loose 50 million instead of 300 million little soldiers. It's still a lot. It only takes one. Anyway, it's not like you keep 300 million, even if he gives you that many every time. A lot of them just come back out when you stand up anyway. Doing it once or twice per day during the fertile days should be enough to get plenty of live sperms in you for conception purposes. Four times a day is recreational :) Finally, doing it 4 times a day, even with reduced count, you still end up with more than doing it once per day with elevated count.
If you aren't having much luck doing it that often for a few tries, then it probably isn't because of frequency of sex causing temporary drops in sperm count. It's probably something else.

You should try cutting it down a little bit. It doesn't necessarily cut down his sperm count but it's making each ejaculation have a smaller sperm count. Your chances would be greater if you waited a day and let it build up so then more gets inside of you and has a chance to fertilize your egg rather than small amounts at a time that will probably end up falling out or not making it to your egg. Yes, it does. I've read that it's generally best to have sex every other day during your fertile period. Sperm can actually live for awhile inside you after you have sex so if you ovulate during that time period you can still get pregnant whether you actually had sex that day or not. Best of luck!

I heard from my doctor that as long as he has a healthy sperm count then every day should not hurt anything. Although having sex four times a day could deplete his count. But you should have enough up in there by now anyways with all the sex your having!!!

From what I've heard you should have sex every other day since the sperm does live inside of you for a couple of days.

yea having sex every day isn't going to get you pregnant any quicker , although you enjoying it and its fun your not giving his sperm a chance lets say revive its self , so there for your getting the shi* sperm so to speak,

unfortunalty i have heard that is does. i don't know the science behind it but i was told that each time i was trying to concieve. i am now pregnant with my third child. it took us two months of trying all three times. the first month we were like rabbits and the second we took it easy and slow and relaxed and that seemed to do the trick for us all three times. good luck to you.

no it doesn't because sperm can stay in side you for up to 3 days and the more the merrier.
