TTC so yeah would be a good thing. Its only been a month and I haven't missed my period yet. Is a faint positive line still a positive. I used the EPT and got a really faint line but can't seem to find the paper to it to see if really faint is still positive. Can anyone help me out here?

Congrats! If it is PINK and not grey in color (suggests an evap line) then you ARE pregnant!
A line is a line.
Tests detect HGC in the body. THere would not be a positive test unless you had some HGC in your body. Which means pregnancy.

Yes, as long as you read the test before 10 minutes had passed. After that, you can get what's called an evaporation line.
Also, make sure that the faint line you saw actually had the color tint to it. For example if the line was to be pink, make sure that you can see pink in the line and not gray because gray can mean evap line.

Congratulations......if your faint line developed within the time frame for the test (ie the 3-5 minutes etc...) then yes, it is a positive.

yes a faint line is a positive. You can not get a false positive. The test is looking for HGC and when it detects that in the urine that is how you get a positive result. Good Luck.

yes a faint line is still a line. (it was for me) it actually says in the directions and on the website. congradulations you are probably going to be a mommy! Make an appointment with your doctor to confirm (they may have you wait until you are 8 or 10 weeks) oh and eat right and take prenatal vitmains..

Even if it's faint, it's a yes. That just means you don't have a lot of the pregnancy hormone yet, so you're probably newly pregnant. If you take one and it's negative, nothing appears. It would be totally white. Try one of the digital tests, they say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and there's no guessing involved.

HPT's just look for the pregnancy hormone in it, the faintness/darkness of the line doesn't matter. If there is a line in the results window, congrats!

Yes. Even if it is faint, you are definately pregnant. If you want to be sure get a blood test. They are 100%
