ok, me and my husband had intercourse on day 12, 13, and 14 of my cycle. the ovulation test strips weren't positive at that time, but we had intercourse anyway just in case........then, on day 20 and 21, the test strips were positive, so we had intercourse on both of those days. i heard it was best to have sex the days before and during ovulation. what do you think the chances of us conceiving are ??? we are both 22 and very healthy.. thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds like you've got a good chance of conceiving. However, not to be a wet blanket here, keep in mind that a huge proportion of conceptions aren't successful, even in healthy individuals. So if you're not pregnant, don't despair, keep trying. You're doing it right!

Good luck!

Men can lose their potency having sex daily. If you really want to get pregnant have hubby hold out from sex for a couple days before your ovulation. His sperm will be built up and you'll have a better chance of conceiving>Best of luck to you both!!!

Sounds like you did all you can do. Sperm can live inside of you for days. Have sex before, during and after ovultion. You have a pretty good chance!

When I wanted my 2nd daughter and stopped taking birth controll - we just did it every night and I never even got 1 period after stopping the birth controll. My husband was pretty happy that month :)
