implantation normally takes place a week after conception which is a week before your period is due.

Hey sweet, you should have a look at my questions.

I did a little research also and basically it can happen 5-14 days after conception. You may experience cramping, or spotting. Some women experience nothing.

It takes then another week for the preg hormone to be released into the body.

I read that a lot of preg test's find it hard to pick up the hormone, even the ones where you can test 4 days before your period is due.

Every person is different.

It takes sperm around 2-3 days to get into the egg and then the eggs starts travelling which can take up to 14 days, that why it is common to have implantation bleeding around the time your period is due when you are actually pregnant or even up to a month later on.

Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

It all depends on many factors. Everyone is different but it should not take longer than 2 weeks.
