Trying to Conceive - September 2006

I want to get pregnant, but my period doesn't come for 1 or 2 months straight. I've already tried getting pregnant for about a year now. Is it harder for me to conceive? I don't know what to do.

I am not getting great responses from friends and family. Should I be upset? I mean they dont have to like the name, but you would think they would say something nice right? Am I being too sensitive?

when you ovulate ... Is that the clear jelly looking stuff that comes out of you.. ? And does that mean you can try to have a baby during or after ovulation?

I took a HPT yesterday am and it showed a dark pink line and a faint pink line, but the lines weren't close together! The directions say that the liines don't have to be the same color so I took it as a positive and they also say that the positive result will last for at least 48 hours and the test still reads the same! I went today to take another test to be sure and it said negative!! I have an appt today and I'm gonna try to get the blood work done and I have another appt next week to get the details if I am pregnant!! I've had the symptoms and my cycle is late!! Has this happened to anyone before?? If so, what were your results???

me and my partner have ben trying for a baby for 18 months. After tests at the hospital, we have been told that one of my tubes may be partly blocked. iam now worried that the baby we are longing for is never going to arrive. i am having key hole surger in Dec, but what are the chances of me getting pregnant after? i have so many question that i feel are going unanswered. can any one help?

I am going to see when I can schedule a date for artificial insemination. Cause me and my hunnie want a baby. We tried for almost 3 years. We have been togther going on 4 years already. And I just wanted to get your opionion about this. How long do you think it will take to make an appointment? And when I do it, what will I have to do? Will I have to be on bed rest.? Will I have to do something at all or will they just do it and see the chances of getting pregnant? And what if we do do it and I don't get pregnant still? What other options do I have.? Would that mean that I just can't have babies? Can someone help me......Please...I'm so confused and stressed out about this all....I can't take it anymore....

I took a HPT today and got an immediate positive result, but the line was lighter than the other one. I was planning on taking another test in a few days, but a coworker said she got negative pregnancy tests for three months because she was drinking so much water. I had never heard of that. Since I want to take another test in a few days, I am thinking I shouldn't drink too much water.

ok well i know i am young (19) but i want to be preganant (because this may be the only time i can (family history))ok so when i was 15 i was on bc but i stopped when i was almost 17 i havent had it since.. i dont know why i havent gotten pregnant.. ive aske my doctors but they say oh your too young you dont want that now kind thing.. im starting to get worried that i might not be able to even concieve.. its been almost 4 years since the bc ive had sex different ways tried diferent things but i cant get my doctors help here which is upsetting me.. my bf now ive been with almost a year and the one before that almost 3 so i dont think it is them since the last one got his new gf pregnant a week later.. what specifically would i ask for to be checked to see if i can concieve? when would i be ovulating (i ask bc i've heard different things).. what other things could i try? what can i do??

I read on a few websites that extremely sensitive nipples is a sure sign of pregnancy. I am due for my period on the 25th and today is the 21st. I know that my ovulation was on sept 11 and my husband and I definetly tried our best hoping that this is it. I also had a little bit of cramp like pains this morning and I have been hungry A LOT! I was just wondering has anyone else ever heard of this and have you had it? I am really hoping for the best!

This morning I was sitting down watching televison and then I went to stand up I remember taking about 3 steps then I felt a sudden rush of dizzyness and a little confusion then I blackedout, during the blacking out I went for the wall to brace myself that's when I came back and realized I was dizzy and needed to sit back down. I have PCOS and recently came off the Pill b/c hubby & I want to try to concieve. My last period was 09/07/06, lasting 1 week and was a result of the Pill. I have been monitoring my bbt, and it averages 97.3. This morning (day 14 after beginning my period) it was 97.8. Do you think this is indicative of ovulation?? My cervical mucous is not similar to "egg whites" yet. I'm sorry this is so long! It is just confusing, and this is my first month charting, and this was the highest temp. I've had thus far! I am also taking 2000 mg/day of Metformin. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks to all!

We have tried for two years now, and still nothing. My period has been non-existent for about a year now. We are not using any birth control (obviously). My doctor says it's just because of my sleep apnea. I already have a son from a previous relationship. Any suggestions?

My last period started Aug 7th. My cycle is usually 33 days. Usually a couple of days before my period starts, I'd have cramps or boob tenderness. But this month...nothing. I was supposed to get my period on/around Sept 9th. Lately, I've been getting headaches, lower back pain and a little nausea but not enough to actually make me vomit. And also i've been really thirsty. I've been feeling a little tired but then again it might be because I'm working 2 jobs. I took a test 4 days ago...negative. This morning, my stomach hurts (cramps) and it was spotting (bright red). If I was to stand on my feet for at least 30mins, I'd feel really sick like wanting to vomit. I'm assuming I'm getting my period? Should I test again? Anybody have or had this same symptoms???

hi again. my cycles range from 30 to37 days,i started bleeding on the 28th day and spotting on the29th. today is the 35th day and i haven't bled or spotted since the 29th. i took 2 preg test and were both neg. symtoms:mild funny cramps,sometimes little sharp pinches peeing more than usual(cud b UTI), was alittle creamy then wet, started to have subtle breast twinges and a little bit sick now and then for about 2mins. did i test too early? help me please.

I've had exam after exam to make sure my fertility is intacted since I under went several surgeries and procedures to treat my cervical cancer. I'm fine now. But my husband and I have been off of all birthcontrol for 6 of my cycles. And I've been charting my cycles for the the past 3. Nothing. and tons of money spent on negative pregnancy tests. I have two healthly children from a previous marriage so I say my hubby has something going on thats causing the hold up. I mentioned it last night and he seemed angry with me. And he begged me to go off of birth control and have his baby. So I'm not pushing him.
