Trying to Conceive - September 2006

I have been off of birth control and trying to conceive for two years. In February 2006 my doctor put me on Metformin. I started with 500 mg and gradually made it up to 1500 mg a day. When I first started, I had my period right away, and then every other month afterwards - February, April, June - and have not had one since. The past 2 weeks have been really weird. I am extremely tired, falling asleep around 8 or 9pm and sleeping until 7am, I wake up atleast once each night to go to the bathroom (sensitive bladder) which was very rare for me previously, I am nauseous in the mornings and have thrown up 2 times in the past two weeks while brushing my teeth in the shower. What do you think? Did it finally happen? My doctors appt is next Wednesday - I hope I get good new.

I TTC on the 12th and on the 17th. Supposedly my ovulation was between the 14th and 19th. I have noticed that my temp was up this morning when I awoke at 99.3 and I did feel a little achy in the tummy off and on one day. My secretions are getting thick and drying up. What do you think the chances are of conception? Thanks for your answers :)

on round 3 of clomid, my OB increased my mg's to 100 this month. Last month on day 21 of cycle he ordered a blood test to check progesterone level it was 2.2, which he said was low. We already checked my thyroid which was fine. What are my chances of conceiving? I haven't had this problem before. I have 2 children and both were conceived within months of being of BCP. This time I was on depo for almost 3 years.

My LMP was on Aug 30 and my cycle lasts 26 days which would make my next cycle to start on Sept 25. My husband and I have been TTC for a while. As of yesterday Sept 19 my nipples have been VERY sensitive. I had to wear a sports bra today because if material rubs them it really hurts. My beasts themselves hurt too. I can't really decide if some other things I've been noticing are because of something else or not either. Such as hungry more often and acid reflux/indigestion and burping after everything I eat Could this be some early signs?

i took a pregnancy test this morning because i am two weeks past my period. There are two places where the lines should be showing, in the square box and in the round box. i dont know if the test is working right but in the square box there was a vertical line which means the test is working and in the round box its suppose to look like a plus sign if your pregnant and just have a horizontal line if your not. i dont have a plus sign, so that means im not preg. but the line that says im NOT preg is sooo very light. has anyone had this or should i just retest again?

should I have sex with my husband if we want to increase our chances of conceiving? I have a fertility monitor and have been having sex on ovulation day (the days before that and after too) for about four months but still haven't gotten pregnant. It's not like we can be at it all day, I just want to know if it does increase the possibilities or not (which I think it does). Any SERIOUS ANSWERS from women who have had a similar experience will be helpful. Thanks.

I've been trying to conceive for two months now. My period this month was expected on the 15th. I started feeling slight cramping on the 10th. On the 14th I started bleeding lightly and it lasted until the 16th. So, I only bled two full days but only lightly. And, now today I'm experiencing slight cramping and I feel it all in my hips.

This is weird because every period I had up until now (with exception to being on birth control) has started real heavy. I usually have to wear a pad and tampon to control the bleeding. And, my cramps are usually severe but not this time. I'm trying to get in to see my doctor but she is booked until the 30th of October so I need some advice.

So, what do you think may be going on with my body?

I WANT TO KNOW IF WHEN UR PERIOD COMES A COUPLE OF DAYS LATE LIKE 5DAYS LATE NO MORE THAN THAT IS IT CONSIDERED AN IRREGULAR PERIOD? I'm 22 years old. My husband and I have only been trying for 3 months to conceive. However, I'm concerned about the fact that I'm overweight and have hypothyroidism. I have consulted doctors about whether to wait or starting trying. They have said that I can try just that I would have to actually lose weight during the pregnancy instead of gain. I'm wanting to hear from other overweight women that have successfully been pregnant. I know I'm not supposed to be stressing at this time but it's difficult. Any shared stories would be greatly appreciated!

My hubby & I have been TTC for sometime now. We had sex every other day last month since my last period ended, (my period was Aug.15th to Aug. 20th). We had sex on the 30th of Aug & then not agian until Sept.17th. I was suppose to get my period on Sept.12th but haven't got it yet. I had a urine test done and a blood test. they both turned out negative. But I still have not got my period. Yesturday, I had this pinkish white mucus (ONLY when I wiped & it wasn't there everytime) Today, it is the same way but was only there once when I went to the bathroom (out of the 4 times). If I would have concieved, when we had sex on the 30th could it be implantation bleeding now or is it to late for it to be that or do you think it is my period coming? I have no pains or cramps. If you think it is implatation bleeding, do you think thats why I got a negative on both pregnancy test? My period is not like this, when I get it. It ALWAYS starts with really bad cramps and is heavy. What do you think?
