You should have sex every other day after your period up until after you ovulate. The reason to do it every other day is that you always have a fresh batch of sperm with stronger ones. I did it this way this month and I ovulated the same time you did, so I have to wait until the earliest Sept 30, to see if I am pregnant or not. Good luck!!

You can become pregant on your fertile days, only if your timing is right since there is only a 24-36 hr period to do so. There are of course other things that must be perfect in order to conceive, and that is why everyone does not conceive in just one month, sometimes it takes several. The soonest you can find out if you are preg or not would be after your missed period, maybe a day or two after. Some people can have enough hormone to be detected earlier, but if you read the fine print in the preg tests that claim to test 5 days sooner, it's a very very small percent.

The best thing to do is to chart your temps with a bbt chart and know your cycles well. Then from the time you stop your period until after your fertile days, you should have intercourse every other day. That is the best way to insure your timing is right.

Good luck, and be patient.

You have a 25% chance every month to get pregnant. Within a year of trying the average couple has an 80% chance of conceiving.

You will know once you have missed your period and the test comes back positive.

It's a difficult and mentally draining time to try for kids. Just stay positive! Good Luck!

I'm going through the same thing. That is around the same time that i'm most fertile. Given those dates, your period must have started like around this time, right? If not ,when? When you become pregnant you count from the first day of your last period. So by the time your next period is supposed to start (around two weeks after ovulation) you should be able to test positive if pregnant. ..Being actually 4 weeks pregnant by them. It depends on your date of your period and you should look for the day on the next month to see if you missed it.

Having intercourse on the day that you are ovulating increases your chance of becoming preg. There are never any guarantees. Your menstrual cycle will start 14 days from the time you ovulate, your fertile days. take a preg test then. if neg and still no period wait a few days then test again.

You should have sex on each of those days to up your chances. You will be able to find out normally around the time your period is due. However, sometimes you can get lucky and get one of those early testing kits like Early Response and it will tell you sooner. Good Luck.

Maybe ...you should always have sex a day or two before ovulation, not the day you ovulate. You have a nice long 2 week wait. Wait until your period comes and then test.

You have to wait until you miss your period (if you miss it) and then take a home pregnancy test. Good luck!
