No because the 34 yr old is much too mature and the 17 yr old has a long way to go. it won't work out. If it's just sex ..i guess so. but the 17 yr old has a whole life ahead of him or her..no business getting stuck in a relationship.

No not at all. That is too much of an age difference. Also it never works out . If the guy is the one that is 34 all he wants is to get some and wants someone that is still nieave that is selfish. He also wants someone that he can control. Now if it is the other way around then the young guy is going to brag and just do and more on. What i am trying to say is that 17 year olds are immtautre

In answer to your question - NO, I think it is a bad idea.
In response to the wanna-be lawyers mixing morality and the law, 16 is typically the age of consent. That is, 15 years 364 days = jail. 16 years = no jail notwithstanding if the other partner is 17, 19 or 34.

I am sure there are laws against this in almost every state of the union....
Although the mathematical age difference is not that much, the maturity difference is tremendous.
Enjoying being you, go to college, travel, live your life.
If the 34 year old still wants to commit to this relationship, he can wait for you

Yes, I sure do. A 34 year old person can be a great mentor for the 17 year old and as soon as that young one is 18... that can be one fun time for both. Just keep it legal. PEACE

Not a chance. maybe when the 17 year old is a little older age will not matter then but right now the 17 year old is still just a child and very impressionable(spelling)!

If you are talking about a sexual relationship, it can get a good long prison sentence for the 34-year-old partner. It's considered rape.

No first it is considered statuatory rape, second the 17 year old is not mature enough to be in an adult relationship with someone that old, and why is this in trying to conceive?

No. My mom was 17 and dad was 30 when I was conceived. It was a mistake from the get go. Of course, I never had any contact with my dad after they broke up.
