when you ovulate ... Is that the clear jelly looking stuff that comes out of you.. ? And does that mean you can try to have a baby during or after ovulation?

After you have ovulated it is usually too late to conceive. The clear "jelly stuff" is known as egg white cervical mucous and it is the most fertile. However, you can still have egg white mucous for a few days post ovulation so you really need to know when you ovulate in order to maximize your chances for conception. One way to find out is to take your basal body temp each morning, before you get up, at the same time each day. Your temps should show a pattern leading up to and after ovulation. A wonderful website to graph your temps on is Fertilityfriend.com. It is FREE also!

I think it is. I was told during ovulation you're wet so that it could help the sperm make their way. I got pregnant the second try by figuring my ovulation using that method.

Yes, If you want to get pregnant, the easiest times are a week before you start your period and a week after your period.
