I am 18 weeks along and today my mom told me that during labor when the doctors give me a epidural in some cases you can be parilyzed for life. Ok that freaked me out and now I am so nervous for labor. I know it is not likely but has anyone known or heard of someone getting parilyzed for life. Just to get some peace Thank you.

I mean at what stage of pregnancy. I am going to be a first time mum 27 weesk pregnant and I feel OK some days and really exhausted the next day. I don't know how this would work as the pegnancy progresses. I work in an inbound call center. Most of the time nonstop talking over the phone and somedays I feel I can't speak, I feel breathless, my voice shatters and I pant a lot. The next day I feel ok, not good, but ok.

I am worried if I would suddenly feel overwhelmingly tired so just need some advise from you guys, when do you really start to feel tired all the time and that you can't keep going anymore?

I know everyone's situation is different but I really appreciate you sharing your experience with me.

I have already had about 7 ultrasounds due to my own scares and also some disturbing symptoms that turned out to be nothing (so far) but will all these ultrasounds and the future ones hurt my baby? I am only 13 weeks.

Ok~~~both of my kids were delivered by c-section, my first was done by my choice after a super long labor (and also lack of info), and the second time I went through a long labor and the baby's heart rate was doing funky things so the VBAC wasn't successful.
Anyway, I always said I wanted 4 kids, but since I have had 2 c-sections, I worry about uterine rupture. Yes, I know that's a concern even in the first ever pregnancy with a vaginal delivery too.
A doctor friend of mine said I could have as many as I wanted...assuming I healed up well. My ob/gyn the second time said he would recommend 4, though 5 is ok...as long as the uterus heals well and doesn't look thin.
Does anyone have experience with this either from a mother view point or from a health care provider's view?
I would greatly appreciate this!

6 Years ago I had my first baby. About 4 weeks after having him I had an anxiety attack. Here I am 6 years later still with the anxiety attacks. Will they ever go away?? I am not on any meds right now because I breast feed my youngest child. But I am just wondering if it is like a on off switch. One day I have anxiety, and one day it is gone for good. (You know, the way it came). Has anybody else experienced this type of anxiety for years after having a baby?? I am tired of dealing with it, and needs some answers. Please help....

I love when my husband touches my belly when baby's moving, and I have a close friend who I don't mind touching my belly. Other than those two people, I get annoyed.

In the earlier weeks, I would say they can't feel baby yet because they're just touching my fat - it always worked like a charm. Now that I'm 34 weeks, I just say "baby's sleeping, you can't really feel anything".

Does it offend you when people touch your belly? If so, do you say or do anything?

Ok, so i passed out at work today and when i came around, my manager was asking me all these questions like are you diebetic ? Are you pregnant ? I said no , but i am 9 weeks pregnant but i didn't wanna tell anyone yet until after 3rd month. I'm pretty sure i'm gonna be showing in a couple of months here. My question is , would i be in trouble if anyone knew that i lied ? I haven't even told my family. I mean, i'm not required to tell my boss that i'm pregnant if i don't want to yet, right ?

I should start my period in about 4-5 days. Tomorrows pill is my last "real" birth control pill before I start the last row that are the "inactive" pills. Is it true the closer to your period, the more dangerous and the higher chance of getting pregnant there is?

I was diagnosed with placenta previa, which basically I'm at risk of loosing my baby. There's a possabiity that I might get a C-section because I won't be able to have my baby normal. My mother for the past 3 years, goes to Mexico for 3 months and comes back. She has been taking care of my daughter ever since she was 2 months old and currently is 2 years old. My daughter loves my mom and cosiders her like her second mom. So my mom has suggested that I should let my daughter go with her. I don't know what to do because it seems too long. She says that way if I do have a C-section I can recuperate faster, plus my husband only has 1 wk of vacation to help me and after that I'm on my own... so she says with both kids it will be tough and especially if I get the C-section. I don't know what to do....! I afraid that something might happen to her over there.... I would like her to be with me when the new baby comes, but then it will be tough on me with two kids. Some people say I shouldn't ..

According to my LMP, I should be 6wks and 5days, and know I ovulated on the 26-28th of November... So, I went in for an u/s because of 4 prior miscarriages, and only saw a gestational sac that measured 5 1/2weeks. It was 11cm, i think and the tech said it looked good a round but I was just a bit early? I did not think I could be this early since I know when I ovulated and got a positive hpt on 11dpo, or what I thought was 11dpo... So, anyone have any thoughts? I go back in a week and hopefully will see a hb....

Not obsessed, just concerened, and wondering how to SAFETLY slow it down the weight gain without hurting my child. And can I exercise safetly, including weights?

I know this is the worst place to ask advice on a serious matter like this but I am so lost I don't know what else to do. I have an adoption all set up for my child. I am 17 years old and I live with the father and we are very close. My reasons for adoption was finance- which there are programs to help and now both parents are willing to help which they weren't before. My other reason was that I wanted to go to college and be set up before we had children but that doesn't seem important now. I am having this baby in one month so I need to decide fast. Any suggestions for me?

Was it for the better or for the worse?
If you've had the baby, did it go back to the way it was?
Did you find it hard to communicate with them, about your feelings, or what you were going through?
