Ok, so i passed out at work today and when i came around, my manager was asking me all these questions like are you diebetic ? Are you pregnant ? I said no , but i am 9 weeks pregnant but i didn't wanna tell anyone yet until after 3rd month. I'm pretty sure i'm gonna be showing in a couple of months here. My question is , would i be in trouble if anyone knew that i lied ? I haven't even told my family. I mean, i'm not required to tell my boss that i'm pregnant if i don't want to yet, right ?

No, you absolutely are not required to tell anyone anything. Don't feel bad about lying at all. It's none of their business. Later, when the secret is out, you can either explain why you didn't tell, or play it off like you didn't know until later.

No, at this you don't need to share your news. You can't get in trouble. Pregnant women are very protected. They don't know you lied...however read your hand book because every company is different and insurances vary. You may need to share your news earlier than you would like but usually it is for them to document your maternity leave. Make sure you look into that as well. The last think you want to do is take your leave and not return and get a bill for 1,000.

Well, I think eventually he's gonna get an inkling that you're pregnant....like when you start to show.
If you don't want to tell him until you're ready, there's no law requiring you to. However, if you want to be able to plan a proper maternity leave and whatnot, you will need to let him know at least 4-6 months ahead of time, which is still within the time frame you're comfortable with.

You wouldn't be in any trouble LEGALLY, if that's what you mean. However, your relationship and your trust with a person would be in trouble. There is no way that they can find out you lied. If, somehow, they figure out you're pregnant, (I don't know how they could) you can tell them that you didn't know. Most women don't discover they're pregnant untill well into their 2nd month, some even later. Don't sweat the small stuff.

You tell people you are pregnant when you want to, period. Apparently you weren't ready to tell them at work today. The reason superiors ask questions is because if you are diabetic, they know more or less what to do. By the time you are ready to give them the news at work, if there are any questions about you fainting in Dec. just say you didn't know you were "preggers" yet. Congratulations!

Absolutely not. You have no obligations to tell anyone that you are pregnant until you are ready. And even when you are ready,,,it's none of their business on the details until you are ready for it to be their business. As far as the details...with pregnancy...due dates change all the time as the baby grows. So you can just blame the incorrect dates on that. It is what it is,,,and that is only for you to know and whomever you wish to share it with. They have noooo right to be mad in any shape or form. Good luck to you!!!!

You dont have to tell them anything, (just yet any ways), so i would just explain later that you knew you where pregnant and that you just wanted to get over the 3 month mark (being the most dangerous and all)...
But otherwise congrats and good luck with the future..

Just act like you didnt even know yourself or just tell the manager the truth that because maybe he or she will know to go easy on you at work. You wouldn't get in trouble but since you fainted letting theem know will prob be wise incase it happens again

Nope, and your boss isn't allowed to ask you such medical questions. If anybody could get into trouble, it would be him for asking you those kind of questions, rather than you lying. Besides, lots of people don't know they're pregnant at 9 weeks.
Good luck and congrats!!!!!

I didn't start telling my family i was pregnant until I was like 16-17 weeks and my bf's side until I was like closer to 30. Even though they already had their suspicions I didn't confirm it until I was ready....You don't have to tell your boss if your not ready.
