I've been doing some reading and it says that mucous plugs are ususally brown or pink... However, I have been having yellow stringy stuff come out when I wipe and, I noticed, it's on my under wear when I go to the bathroom... Is this or could it be my mucous plug?

I had the same thing when i was pregnant with all three of my kids and yes that is most likely your mucous plug. If its like snot from a nose when you clean yourself and its stringy and you have it on your panties and everything its your mucous plug. But you have nothing to worry about though it just means your getting close to having your baby.

Discharge is going to get thicker and heavier late in pregnancy. It doesn't sound like a mucous plug. Wear a pad if it bothers you.

That is the early stage of losing your plug. I started losing mine little by little at 28 weeks with my daughter, and then towards he end it was blood streaked. This time I'm 26 weeks and am already seeing that stuff in the morning. It constantly regenerates, so it's not a big deal.

same thing happened to me, sometimes it could be your mucus plug breaking off, or just a discharge due to the fact that your pregnant. I asked my doctor the same thing and that's how I knew it was because of the pregnancy, but all people are different maybe it was for you or maybe it wasn't. you should consult with your doctor.
