I had sex on December 1st, the maybe a week later I had clear slimey discharge. I then had sex a few days later. So it's been like three weeks since all of this. Today I noticed only when I wiped that I had brownish to very light pinkish discharge. I did take a pregnancy test a week ago, but it came out negative. But now I'm starting to wonder. Do you think it's possible that I am pregnant, or could this just be a light period? And when is the best time to take another pregnancy test. Thanks everyone for any kind of help on this matter.

Shouldn't Y!Answers cut out the middle man and automatically send them a pregnancy test, a condom, a book on family planning and a hand written sticker with a smiley face on it that says "YOU IDIOT"?

Hi, I'm 25 weeks pregnant and I just came home to visit my mom. Problem is..she's a smoker and I haven't been around smoke the whole time i've been prego. I try to steer clear of her when she smokes, but she smokes in the house and she's a pretty avid smoker. She doesn't like to smoke around me, but I always want to talk to her because i haven't seen her for so long. Will this few day exposure harm my baby? I'm only gonna be here for a few days....I'm just scared that it will be hard on my baby

ok , i'm 21yrs old and i live at home with my mom,dad, sis and her b/f and her son.I've been going to school fulltime and working partime ,but i decided i want to make a change ,so i just got a great job w/excellent benifts one thing i have never had ,nor have my parents provided for me. I plan on workign fulltime and going to school part time. I told mom and she's upset she was crying when she saw me this morning ,she's make a big deal (i am the Baby) my sis is 26 not marrried ,got pregnant at 17 and doesnt go to school. The reason i want to move is because the commute wll be easier and school closer,but she doesnt undersand.... I plan to move in w/my b/f and his sister. what should i do?? It's not like i'm telling her hey i'm 15 and pregnant w/a low life b/f like my sister did.

I got my last period july 26th, and had a positive preg test aug 20th but my son wasnt born until may 13th. He was 6lbs at birth and that was at 42 weeks.
They induced me too. According to a medical person and she thinks I had a incomplete miscarriage and got preg around same time and the ovum got reabsorbed because if he was born at 37 weeks full term he would of only been 3 lbs and she found that odd.
What do you think?

is the recovery really as bad as people make it sound? i am pretty sure i will have one (due to a medical reason leave it at that) and im worried about how i will get to my doc appts and grocery shop and so on... my bf works full time so what am i gonna do? i dont get any help from family members so im basically just fending for myself here and i dont know how im gonna do it? how long did you honestly wait untill you drove? because im not waiting 6 weeks maybe 1 or 2..

I was expecting my period last Sunday so it's a week late. There is no sign of it, I haven't even spotted at all and I usually spot a week before it starts.

I took 3 tests and they were negative. I'm worried because I have been having sex this past month and he pulled out but his c um did get on and near my vagina. Could some have gotten in and swam up?

I know the guy would be very unhappy if I'm pregnant so I'm concerned.

I think I'm having other pregnancy symptoms but it could also be my imagination.

my bf got me pregnant and he's too scared to face his responsibilities with our baby. we broke up over a year already and he never got a chance to see our kid because things are really too complicated for the both of us. i never saw him eversince i gave birth but sometimes he calls up and says that he loves the both of us. i really dont know if i'll believe him or not because he left me after knowing he got me pregnant. he explained that he just need enough time to think about things but i dont know if i really need to wait... will i still give him this chance to make up with me and our baby??

ok i let a guy have sex with me without protection. First you don't have to tell me this was stupid..i know. I don't plan on doing it again. im 18 n 24wks pregnant with a baby boy im engaged n all but i wondering if it wud look weird for me to go out liek to the movies by myself? im saying by myself bcuz all my friends are at work my fiancee is always working an well theres no one left but me and im so fustrated by being home all the time! no i dnt feel srry for myself i just want to do something about it...but so far everyone i tell im goin to the movies alone to says im a loser! dnt get me wrong i wud love for my fiancee to surprise me with a date or somethign but reality is that that is not gonna happen .. and what other things can i do by my self. remember im still young n im not a party grl never have been never will be so NO im not missing out on anything,

for christmas eve tomorrow night we have made some sandwiches and they include tuna salad, chicken salad, and egg salad....so basically ALL use mayonnaise.
i was wondering if it is safe in pregnancy. i read the label on the Miracle Whip bottle, but i got nothing from it. didnt say pasturized or not.
before i pig out on these sandwiches...is it safe????

I have just found out on Friday I am pregnant based on about 5 HPTs, all positive. We were trying to conceive for about 4 months. My period was supposed to start yesterday and I tested Friday, one day before, all the tests have been pretty strong positive. My doc cannot see me until Jan 3. Anyhow, Friday and Saturday, I had some minor cramping (no bleeding). My boobs are also sore. Now, Sunday, I have had no cramping and no other symptoms other than the sore boobs. I have had frequent urination, but I have been drinking a lot of water. I am just concerned because I have no other symptoms - could this mean something is wrong? Shouldnt I be nauseous and extremely tired???

first off im 39 weeks pregnant today..since early this morning around 2 or 3 my right hip was hurting bad, till then i had to constantly switch sides because the pain was so terrible. ohh and before my hip starting hurting this morning i had my First Contraction..like i actually felt my stomach get hard for a few seconds and i felt like i had to take a dumb *tmi* it wasnt unbearable though, i jus had to breath it out and it went away. well havent felt one similar since and its now 5 pm. but just a few minutes ago the middle part of my stomach just starting hurting bad, not like i had to use the bathroom, it felt like my stomach was being squizzed on the inside and it lasted like 15 seconds then went away..i was eating cereal at the time so im not sure if it was the food or a contraction...pls help..and when do you think ill go into labor im 3cm dilated and about 70% effaced..the baby has dropped like a couple of weeks ago..im a first time mommy..so i need all the info i can get.thanks!

I have been having many pregnancy symptoms for about 2 weeks now. We had our second son in May 2007 and my periods have been average 24 days since then. Today is day 28 of my cycle and still no period. I had a BETA HCG (quantitative) done friday which would be day 26 pf my cycle. I am pretty sure ovulation occured day 16 of cycle. Could I still be prego or no?

I've never understood what the problem is. Is it because they think mothers don't want to get pregnant again so soon? Or is there an actual, medical reason?

Is it hard to go for six weeks without having sex? Do most people break that rule? If you have, did anything bad happen?

how can i bring my labour on im getting really uncomfortable and having a lot of braxton hicks pains that are getting stronger every time i have them and the doctor wants to induce me in next week but i do not want to be induced if i can help it. i have tried all the usuall sex, hot curry, driving over bumps, pinapple, raspberry leaf tea, i don't want to go down the route of caster oil because that can make you really ill, can any body suggest anything else that i have not tried yet im getting really desperate. help me please

hello im 31 weeks pregnant i have been to doctors and hospital about finding it hard to breathe sometime si wake up in the night and have to go sit in the lounge as i really struggle to breathe is this normal im on iron tablets as i am a little bit enemic.. but it still worrys me as its not very nice when you feel you cant breathe is this normal to be finding it hard to breathe at 31 weeks ???

When someone asks me how many months I am, I never know quite how to answer. I am not looking for a "right" or "wrong" way...I know everyone does it differently... I am curious:

How do YOU calculate how many months you are?

The options are:

1. Every 4 weeks you advance to another month (I just turned 24 weeks, therefore I am 6 months)?

2. Count back from your due date (i.e. I'm due April 12, therefore I will be 6 months on Jan 12th)?

3. Count forward from LMP (i.e. My LMP was July 6, 2007, therefore I will be six months on January 6th, 2008)?

In addition, do you count by how many months you have completed or by what month you are in (i.e. I have completed 6 months, therefore I am 6 months...or...I am in my 6th month, therefore I am 6 months)?

I think each method of calculation has some merit, I am just curious how YOU calculate it!!
