Why do women/teens/girls constantly go on here to ask if they are pregnant? When did we get to the point where people think they can get lab results from a group forum?

Well I bought 3 pregnancy tests and the first 2 were negative so I wanted to know from women who have had children, what their experience was and have a little comfort. You know the test doesn't always work if you take it too early and I'm 22 married and intelligent. I just need something to pass the time. I know YA is only for serious purposes and heaven forbid we use it for entertainment and friendly conversation. The young kids though and the really dumb questions like "am I pregnant I hugged a guy" really do bug me. Oh well, no one forces you to read them.

I don't get it either - asking a bunch of strangers if you
are pregnant and telling them all the details about when you
last had sex.
I am the mother of three - and I knew before taking the
pregnacy test that I was pregnant (I am pregnant with baby
# 4). I never even considered asking on here "am I pregnant?"
I don't know how far along I am (I think about four months)
but I don't plan on telling everyone on YA when my last period was and having strangers help me figure it out!!
I finally got some health insurance this month and I am going to the doctor on Friday and I will be able to get accurate answers for any pregnancy related questions I might have from my doctor.

I am just about as sick of seeing these type questions as I am of seeing "omg...am i preggerz?!?!"

A couple times a day I see rants on here about taking pregnancy tests. Maybe not a hundred times like an am i pregnant, but too many for me.

I think they mostly do it for attention.

I've had friends ask me if they're pregnant, when they know for a fact that they're not.

Young girls these days think pregnancy and parenthood is a game, that children are a fun accessory.

I believe, mostly though, that it's basically a cry for attention.
