Yes, it covers pain relief.
But not circumsicions. That's around $150 out of pocket to the doctor.

I have brought either one of my infants in Florida and on Medicaid and I obtained a personal room. I'm now not certain in the event that they also have shared rooms however I recognize that peers had been concerned approximately sharing a room. The pleasant factor to do is take the excursion of the health center that's provided. Or while you name to sign up with the health center round 25 weeks simply ask them. I brought at Martin Memorial in Stuart Florida. I desire this helped

I see that everyone here is saying yes to the epidural and no to circumcision, but I had a boy and it covered it. It also covered the epidural, I didn't have to pay for anything...

for the circumcision, it depends on what state you live in. In some states it is covered and in other states it is not, because it is an unecessary cosmetic procedure. Either way, please leave your son intact. It hurts them ALOT, they don't use anesthetics for the procedure most of the time and if they do they're not enough and afterwards the poor little guy has to deal with an open wound in his diapers and NO pain relief. It doesn't effectively prevent anything that soap and condoms don't protect against better. Its his body, if he hates having a foreskin he can always get it done later with full anesthesia and proper pain killers, but if he hates being circed, well, you can't put that skin back. The foreskin is one of the most sensitive parts of the penis, on circed guys they're most sensitive part is ussually the circumcision scar. Its your son's body and your son's penis. Let it be HIS choice to permanently alter it or not. -Neb

if insurance covers routine infant circumcision then the insurer is doing a real disservice to the rights of the child.

Pregnancy medicaid does cover them but you have to make sure you get the circumcision before leaving the hospital.
