I'm just curious. I lost my mucus plug a few days ago, and my doctors are planning on inducing me in a few days if my labour hasnt started....today at the hospital the nurse told me and my husband to try having sex to start labour, but I thought that was bad to do after losing your mucus plug??? Anyone know the answer, because we're willing to try anything but I dont want to if its going to hurt baby?

OKay..today I found out that I was pregnant, but since I had my period already while I was pregnant (im 14) they said that i might have that again, and have spotting etc..i already had spotting a few days ago.
i went to the doctors today for the sotmach flu and they told me i was pregnant after a pee and blood test


hes the kind of person who will make any like BUT WHAT IF or THEN WHY kind of response to things that he doesnt believe

so what should i tell him cause the doctor didnt go in specific details why this might happen to me cause i was in urgent care and i didnt exactly ask

like how can i tell him its true its true so that he'l believe me and not just reject the truth???

im really confused.

and yes im gonna keep it.

I've done a lot of research on epidurals, and although they can provide great pain relieve, they can prolong labor and increase your risk of a c-section and epistotomy. What can I take for pain relief? I've heard Demerol is the best.

I am 1cm and a little over 50% effaced. Having really bad contractions that are described to be braxton hicks because they are not close together, but I was told that BH contractions arent painful. This is my first pregnancy. They seem to get worse everyday, and wake me up during the night. I talked to my doctor today and he told me that they we just BH and just to drink water. When I saw him yesterday, he estimated the baby will be here around my due date which is Nov 21? I was told that it might just be early labor? What are the signs/symptoms of early labor if my water hasnt broken and I havent lost my mucus plug? And also what do you think is going on with me?

I got a nasty stomach bug a few days ago (the day before my due date) and ended up in the hospital. I was contracting every 3-4 minutes but they weren't strong enough for the hospital to keep me. I went home and went to sleep and woke up vomiting again and went back to the hospital. This time my contractions were every 2-3 minutes apart. STILL they sent me home saying I was in "early labor" but my body was probably trying to make it stop because I was so sick. Is that even possible? Now here I am feeling better and having no signs of labor. I am 80% effaced, dilated to a "loose 3" and have been for about 3 weeks. I lost my plug about 10 days ago. I am so frustrated. Is it possible that my body won't start labor again on it's own? On top of this I've had my membranes swept three times and NOTHING. Walking, sex and all of that crap doesn't work either. I am so miserable right now. I've been crabby and crying all day. Any words of wisdom?!? BTW this is my 2nd baby.

The one on monday said a sac in uterus but no yolk or fetus, the one today the Doctor said theres a gestational sac,but no yolk or fetus so hes telling me its a blighted ovum maybe he said 75% chance of that or 25%chance its fine, has this happened to anyone? Why do my boobs still hurt and if it is a blighted ovum how much longer is it going to be there be4 it miscarries?

im 25 weeks pregnant and i get realy sharp ripping like pains under my right breast above my ribs. it is extremely bad at night. i cant sleep at all. my doc tried to tell me it is heartburn but it isnt. cause i eat tums like candy and if i move a certain way or take a deep breath it will trigger the pain. if you push on the spot even when it isnt hurting it is realy sore. i get it alot during the day it is just unbeliveably bad at night for some reason or when i lay down. what is this and what can i do to stop it?

I began spotting and went to the doctor and had a transvaginal sonogram done. The sonogram showed the fetus pole but technician could not detect a fetal heartbeat. Did I miscarry?

Just saw the doctor today and I should be weighing about 173, and instead I weight about 161. In the last month, I've lost about 5-6 pounds. I didn't mean to, but I'm really not hungry and when I do eat I throw it back up an hour later. So, it's difficult to eat knowing you're going to be vomiting in an hour. She was very upset and said I needed to gain about 10 pounds. She said it could result in a miscarriage if this continues. I'm really scared. I don't want to lose my baby! How do I gain weight, without etating junk food? Any kind of meat makes me sick to my stomach, and the doctor suggested that. I eat a small breakfast (Half a plain bagel), a cup of soup for lunch, and for dinner I normally eat something bland like plain mashed potatoes or plain rice or plain pancakes. I want to gain the weight so I can give my baby the healthiest chance I can, so what do you guys suggest?

I think i got pregnant on the 1st of this month (7 days ago) but my period is not due till around the 17th or 18th..but my breasts are very tender and i feel discomfort, i know it could be too early for symptoms but everybodys bodies are different. Do you think i would be waisting money if i tried a test now??

I just got back from an ultrasound. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and she said she couldn't do the vaginal ultrasound because I was in the middle of a contraction. I asked if this was normal and she said she'd seen it before but didn't know if it was or not. Anybody know anything about this? Worried about pre-term labor.

I swear i'm not smoking anything and I'm not insane, but you know when you are hungry and your stomach makes noises, when your baby is kicking and running a muck in your stomach, does he/she make noises? I'm 24 weeks and by myself. Just a curious question. Make fun of me all you want... I probably deserve it... lol Besides this questions is for laughs anyway.

i'm 23 wks pregnant with my first baby, so i'm lost.. lol :P can my baby be squishing my bladder? some days i feel like i REALLY gotta go pee and other days i don't, just normal. but those days i feel the urge, i'm rushing, i get to the restroom, and just a little squirt (too much info.. sorry.. lol) and i'm like "wtf?!" is that normal? she moves a lot so i know her position is constantly changing. so can she sometimes be on my bladder or something?! thx :)
