Of course it is. Life begins at the moment of conception. As for being human, if the parents are human so is the offspring. If two lions mate, the fetus would be a lion. Same goes for monkeys, goats, panthers, crocodiles, turtles, etc. I think what you really mean is, is a fetus viable? In other words, considered to have the potential to be born. Yes! Can it live outside the womb at that early stage? No.

I think so.
I mean, the sperm and eggs are brought together for one soul reason, and that is to make a baby. So at any stage of the game, it's a baby. Because that's what it's meant to be. Everything has to start somewhere, including us people. So just because the process of creating us takes a little longer, and at some points it doesn't really look like, seem like, or function like one of us grown beings, doesn't mean it isn't one of us. If we didn't have that little beginning stage (that is just soooo controversial), we wouldn't be here today even asking that question.
Those two little elements are never brought together for any other purpose, than to make a human being. Right?

YES!!! What defines humanity? From a medical perspective, our DNA sequencing. If we go from a medical perspective, the moment of conception is when a human being is created. So, this invalidates the pro abortion arguement that a fetus isn't human.

From the spiritual perspective, a human is human also at conception. Therefore, there is no variance in either arguement. Both define a person as human at CONCEPTION.

I always wonder about laws enacted in California. In that state, it is legal to have an abortion. However, if a person kills a pregnant woman, two counts of murder are filed. So, according to the law of California, it is legal for a mother to kill her child, just not another person? Strange place and strange logic.

i am not sure, but since an egg is not considered a chicken, i guess the fetus is not considered a human being.

it is all personal opinion.

I believe life begins at conception. The cells are alive, dividing and developing. Given proper prenatal attention or not a human being will likely be born in nine months time.

It should be considered a four week old fetus. This is pretty damn miraculous but not human enough to have big brother butt into a woman's life and body.

Yes, when the sperm and the egg meet and form cells, they are a "human being".
