It can be a very nervous time. The constant threat of pregnancy, communicable diseases etc. It depends a lot on your own state of mind. WIth respect, dignity and caring it can be faaaaaaaaaaaantastic. If the other partner is unsure or wants more time and you just barge ahead it is ... rape! Use condoms and talk a lot to make sure you avoid the force situation.
