I think i got pregnant on the 1st of this month (7 days ago) but my period is not due till around the 17th or 18th..but my breasts are very tender and i feel discomfort, i know it could be too early for symptoms but everybodys bodies are different. Do you think i would be waisting money if i tried a test now??

yes, just wait for your period to be due, or at least 14 days past the possible conception date. the 15th might get you accurate results, but waiting for your period to be due would be better.

Yes you absolutely would be wasting money, no question. Your body does not even start producing the hormone that a pregnancy test looks for until the fertilized egg implants. This doesn't happen until 6-12 days after conception, and then the hormone needs some more time to build up a bit in your body before it can be detected. You would definitely get a negative on a urine test right now, no question. You need to wait until you are closer to your period. The earliest you can test is 5 days before you expect your period, with a test that specifically says it's an early results test. And even then you can't be sure it's accurate if it comes back negative.

You would definitely be wasting your money. Some women can get a positive blood test this early...BUT most do not. In fact most women don't even get a positive urine test AFTER they are late for their period.
I would say wait at least until the week you're due for your period. I'm assuming that the 1st was a little before you ovulated (your last menstrual period started on the 21st?)...
You could be pregnant certainly if you had unprotected sex around the time that you ovulated....but don't waste your money this soon.

Definitely a waste of money. That's 9 days away and no test can give you results this early. So just wait until you are due for your period and then take a test if you don't get it.

To be completely honest with you, its a waste of money. You should wait until at leist 5 days before you next period. Period could also cause breat tenderness so I would wait. Good luck hun!

There are tests that you can take if you want to know earlier. Remember though that you could be pmsing and sometimes if you think it it's true. What I mean is stress can cause those symptoms too and if your stressing about being, then it's going to feel like you are. But If it makes you feel better if you found out now, then do it. No amount of money is to much when it comes to your heath or peace of mind. Go get one if you want to.

I think it would be a watse of money. If you got a period, even if it was early, then you're not pregnant. It was either a period, or very early miscarriage.
