my girlfriend and i had sex 4 times on sunday. sad, i know. so anyways. she stopped her bc that day too, b/c she ws expectinbg her period the next day. she still hasnt startted to bleed, and we're very nervous. its been 4 days and its still like that. what are the chances of her being pregant? how long do some ppl be w/o being pregnant?

As i stated above iam 5 months pregnant... i had subway for dinner, a subway melt, with turkey, ham, bacon and pepperoni... someone told me i am not supposed to have deli meat because of a bacteria called lysteria that can kill the baby! O MY GOD.. help.. now im scared... they say its ok if its heated to steaming.. well it wasnt... not even close..

Is it more common to dialate and efface and have baby drop first??

Or more common to go into labour and just have all these things happen in labour?

my first was induced... so I have no clue.

The cervix softens and stretchs... the uterus dialates?
The cervix is above the vagina.. shaped like an orange with a hole that stretches in the middle... leading to a dialated uterus????????/?

I posted a question about being young and unprepared for my child. Almost ever answer said "You weren't ready for sex, You should have used protection..." and so on and so forth.


At 21 living on my own for 3 years now with my boyfriend working full time and going to school full time we HAVE BEEN responsible and I have been on birth control... switching from one method to the other is how I got pregnant....

Why do people assume if you say your un-prepared and pregnant it means your a whore who doesn't use a condom?

I just had a check up last week and the doctor told me I am 1 cm dialated. I have had burst of enegry for the past two days and haven't gone to bed until 2:00am for the past two days. I have walked for the past two days for about a mile and a half. I had two cases of diahera. I have been having a hard time falling a sleep at night and all I want to be is a wake. I have had a few discharges but don't know if I have lost my mucus plug or not as it isn't bloody or brown just really white and a lot of it. If anyone can tell me if I am going into labor soon I would appeciate it.

I'm 38 weeks and 4 days and I have had diarhea for several days now. I am drinking plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. I was just wondering if this could be a sign of impending labor, or if it is just me. I havent eaten anything out of the norm so I dont think it is that. Just curious. Thanks.

i asked this yesterday but i want to ask again and be more specific about my pregnancy. 2 weeks ago my babys head was at -2 station and i was 50% effaced and my cervix was closed. i'm 37 weeks as of today and i had gone to my prenatal care appointment 2 days ago and my midwife told me my babys head is at -1 station, i'm 75% effaced & 1 cm dialated. when do you guys think my baby will come? is there a chance she can come by this weekend? i've been adviced to walk a lot and it helps but how much does it help? any advice? i'm really excited and would love to have her come out now. =]

Im turning 21 in August and my boyfriend and I got pregnant. We are moving out of our apartment and in with my parents this weekend. Not only am I NOT ready to be pregnant but im NOT ready to have a child. I can do parenting and say yes or no but im NOT ready to have a child that needs to be taken care of every minute of everyday.


We are not ready for a baby. What should be my BIGGEST concern other than health? OTHER than health?? Have a appropriate vehicle, saving to MOVE into our own place, whats the biggest priority until the babies born?

i am 9 weeks pregnant, yesterday i just suddenly started bleeding but it sopped. Today I started bleeding again. I also have cramps and pains in my side.
The smell of the blood smell likes afterbirth blood and it also had blood clots in it.
Am I right and should i rush to the emergency room.?

I had a scan at 6 weeks and she said my due date was July 25th. And than I had a another scan at what I thought was 30 weeks but she said I was actually 32 weeks and the baby weighed at that point 4lbs. 6 ounces. Is that the average weight? Does anyone know anything about this? This is my first pregnancy and I know nothing! lol Thanks!

I had my 20 week scan today and I asked to know the sex. The scanner showed my baby on screen the baby and it looked like the baby had a penis, but the scanner said it might not be a boy (because she couldnt see a scrotum) but it could be a enlarged clitoris. She said that it could be a boy, or a girl. She said that in foetuses of this gestation, it was common for girls' clitorises to be very enlarged but that they become more prorportional over time.

Was she right or just trying to not worry me? I mean If its a boy, then no worries, but what if its a girl and the clitoris doesnt go down? Has anyone else seen a scan of a girl with a VERY enlarged clitoris??

I guess i am particularly worried because my family tends to have girls - 90% almost.

Please only serious responses , i am probably stressing over nothing but just want to hear from other mums who have experienced similar things.

well i am sexually active and sum times i dont use a condom but he pulls it out before he ejaculates and i havent really had an appitite for a week and my stomach just feels weird and sometimes maybe its just me but i feel something moving but i dont know i could be crazy

I have been working for my employer for 2 months. My pregnancy does not interfere with my job performance. Can I get fired for having to take time off? I am 20 weeks pregnant and am ok'd by the doctor to work until I am due in October.

Has anyone experienced this during a past pregnancy or is currently experiencing it? If so, how common is it? I'm due in two weeks and have had this condition since halfway through my fifth month. It's started to hurt less, but in the beginning I put a band aid over it because brushing against my shirt hurt it alot and it just feels tender and sore in general. My doctor said it will correct itself postpartum but I have heard women sometimes require surgery at some point to fix their belly button with umbilical hernia. Anyone else hear this?
