The chances of getting pregnant the day before a period are slim to none, because the egg can not be fertilzed at that point. However she may have ovulated late in this cycle and she may not be due for a period, so she could have gotten pregnant. This seems likely since she did not get her period, so she was wrong about when it was due. Tell her to take a test.

If you're saying she was taking the pill properly (hasn't missed any other pills) and this was not her first month on the pill, and she has now "stopped" for her week to have her period, there is only a 1-2% chance that she is pregnant. However if this is her first month on the pill or if she missed pills, then there is a higher chance. I'm assuming you had sex some other times than just Sunday because it's highly unlikely for her to get pregnant the day her period is supposed to start and experience no period-like bleeding...and right before your period isn't your most likely fertile time. I say buy her a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side, although chances are slim if she's been taking her birth control properly. Oh, and being on birth control while pregnant/right before becoming pregnant DOES NOT harm the baby, so whoever said that is scaring you for no reason. If by chance she is pregnant, she can just stop the pill now (because it would be a waste to continue to take them) and the baby will be fine.

First let me say that you need to use protection! Secondly, you are most likely to get pregnant in the middle of your cycle, that is about two weeks after your period. However, this isn't 100 percent. Any number of things can happen to cause a female to release an egg at any time of the month. Chances of her being pregnant, slim but possible. (It's impossible to give you a percentage here!) From this point on, be responsible...OK.

Its not likely she's pregnant if she was only a day from the end of her pill pack. stress is probably delaying it. but a pregnancy test should be able to detect it, dont know tho, there may not be enough hormone built up yet (unless she was already pregnant)

Why on earth would she stop her bc pills because her period was coming? You are suppose to keep taking them, there are usually a weeks worth that are for during your period. If she stopped taking them that day, you were both wrong to have sex. It is not healthy for the baby too if she does get pregnant, being that she was on the pill. You are suppose to stop them a month or so before you try to conceive. I'd go get checked to be sure.
