No. The baby will have either O or B blood (mom has to be OO and dad could be either BB or BO and baby will get one from each parent, so will be either OO or BO blood type).

A problem only arises when the mother has negative blood type and the baby has a positive. If that happens then the mother will recieve a shot in the last trimester. Once the baby is born the baby will have his/her own blood type.. Your doctor should have explained all of this to you if they are any good.. Congratulations and Best of Luck..

The mother's blood type is the only one that would cause a medical procedure to be done, and that is only when the mother has a negative blood type. And even at that, the only thing now days that is done, is a shot is given to the mother at about 28 weeks and one when the baby is born. In the case that you are talking about, there is no cause for concern, the baby is going to be wonderful!!!

No. The rh factor is when the mother is negative and the father is postive. You get a shot at 28 weeks and when the baby is born if the babys blood is postive. I had it done with all four of my kids.

what they'll do is give the mother a shot while pregnant so just in case shes positive and the baby's negative or vice versa, her body may try to reject the fetus. by giving her this shot, it prevents this. its not a blood transfusion or anything tho, just to prevent her body from thinking the baby is an infection and attacking it with white blood cells.

NOPE.
the problem with the RH factor only arises when mother is RH negative. If Mom is positive, there is absolutely no problem.
