I just had a check up last week and the doctor told me I am 1 cm dialated. I have had burst of enegry for the past two days and haven't gone to bed until 2:00am for the past two days. I have walked for the past two days for about a mile and a half. I had two cases of diahera. I have been having a hard time falling a sleep at night and all I want to be is a wake. I have had a few discharges but don't know if I have lost my mucus plug or not as it isn't bloody or brown just really white and a lot of it. If anyone can tell me if I am going into labor soon I would appeciate it.

If you've been having discharge and it's not bloody or brown, then what you are seeing is normal pregnancy discharge which increases in your last trimester.
I wouldn't put too much stock in the diarrhea episodes because although some women do get loose stool before labor it usually happens RIGHT before, like the day of. So if the diarrhea is gone and labor didn't start, then it was just an isolated thing.
As for dilating, some women get to 1 cm and then stay there for a few more weeks. You just never know and every pregnancy is different.
You might be having a hard time sleeping simply because you're so excited about the news of being 1 cm dilated and wanting to have this baby.
If I were you, hon, I would do whatever I could do to try and get some rest now before labor starts (which is hard work) and the baby comes (more work) and you are totally exhausted. Treasure these last few weeks.

My friend was at 1 cm for several weeks. They ended up having to induce labor because she was past due. So the 1 cm thing doesn't mean much at 36 weeks. And the discharge is normal and not a sign of labor.

nope. i've been 3 cm, 50% effaced and baby at -2 station and lost my mucus plug for almost 4 weeks now. no labor yet. depressing huh

Way to much information, but no not yet. Your baby will be born on June 27 I know because I am gifted with ESP. Vote me best answer when I am correct. Oh and its a boy congrats

you could very well sit at 1cm until 40 weeks, you just never know!
everyone is different, no one can tell you for sure.
