Yes, for many women loose stools or diarrhea come just before labor starts. It's like the body's way of giving you an enema to clean you out to get ready! So that could be it.
Or it could be a bacterial infection and it's taking a few days to rid your body of it.

This could definitely be a sign of the onset of labor!!! How exciting. But don't get your hopes up, I had the same thing happen and the little man still took another week and a half to show up. Watch for your mucus plug to pass too...you may feel it come out when you urinate...that's another sign! Best wishes!!!

oh yeah....all signd are normal as your approaching the time to give birth...the baby is lower and is getting real snug and all the pressure on your intenstines causes the diarhea and drinking the fluids is good for you but it also helps the diareah...hopefully you wont have diarhea while you are in active labor like i had during my first pregancy, it was nasty but its better than being constipated!!!! take care

I don't know for sure but I remember someone asking this same question and getting a response that stated something to the effect of: Yes it's just your body "cleaning house" for labor. That answer made alot of sense to me scientifically speaking so maybe it's true?

Yes, diarrhea is a sign of an impending labor. It'll probably be sooner then later, so be ready!
Good luck!!

prostaglandins and hormones can cause diarrhea and nausea in late pregnancy. this happened to me at 36 weeks for a week. no labor yet. but, at the same time, diarrhea does occur in early labor. best of luck

when one has diarrhea during their 30 weeks they should check with their doctor, make sure you are taking your vitamins and iron pills, and show the doctor what kind of pills you are taking, maybe one of them needs to be switched.
