my advice to you...when you pee, grab your ankles :) it helps a little when the urine doesnt touch them as much. so i know you're sore but try and bend over as far as you can on the toilet. thats what i did. hope you heal up soon so you can fully enjoy that new baby!!! congratulations!

Yup it is normal if it burns when you pee, and a little pulling discomfort when sitting, walking ect is normal too while healing. Try a small squirt bottle when you pee to squirt the warm water on the area where the stitches are that way the pee won't sting them like normal. The burning will go away in about 5 days once it is pretty much healed.

Very normal.

Use some warm water when you use the bathroom to lower the acidic nature of urine, also they may have given you a donut pillow thing at the hospital, if so use that and soak in the tub once in awhile (I soaked a couple times a day when it was real bad). Also, use the first aid spray that they should have given you as well.

Mine hurt for a couple weeks after.. They should of given you some numbing spray for the area along with instructions at how to home care for your stitches. Call your doctor they will tell you what to do.

I had my daughter five weeks ago and my stitches still burn when I pee and such. So you are fine! :) It gets better, pick up some Dibucaine (its called nupercaine at walgreens) and witch hazel pads and put the cream on the pads and put that on the stitches, it helps alot. I still do it when they irritate me.

They will burn and itch for a little while, I'm afraid. The best solution I found was witchhazel. You can find that in OTC hemorrhoid medications (check the ingredients list). But that tends to calm the burn. Good luck, and congratulations on your new baby!

herbal sitz bathes are best to help with the healing process (natural food stores) or just a sitz bath with epson salts helps also. This too will pass.

If you don't have a sitz bath...soak in tub with just enough warm water and epson salts to emerse your private area.
