Pregnancy - March 2007

nephew won't let me hold him, cries when i am near him, when before he loved to play with me.He will give me kisses but will throw a fit if i go to hold him. he is 17mths, now. His 3 year old sister loves me, and had no issues with me. My husband and I have been trying, so is this wishful thinking. My sister heard that when she was pregnant with her girl and was holding a boy that that was a sign of what she is to have, if the boy acted up while she was holding it. Please let me know...if you do!

6 months pregnant...they checked the baby's heart today at his echocardiogram and he looks great...Good weight and everything...Good measurements....BUT, I'm diabetic. What are the chances of me losing him? I want him so badly and I love him more than I ever thought I could love someone. What are the possibilites of me having a stillborn at this point with all the great test results that have come back?
(I just heard a story the other day of a girl losing her little girl at 7 months pregnant. She's devisted....I couldn't imagine this happening to me and i DO NOT want it to happen...)

My brother and sister in law are 5 months pregnant. Today they went for a check up and the doctor let them know that the baby is to big. They r going back in a week to get another sonogram done but they are very worried. I am wondering if anyone has been told something like this and should they be concerned? Could it be something serious or maybe just that they are having a big baby. I really want to help put their minds at ease at least til next week. Thank you!!

My due date is in 3 days. I have my hospital bag packed but I want to be 100% sure that I have everything that my baby and I will need. Every time I go to the doctor I forget to ask him what the hospital provides you with and what you need to bring yourself. If anyone could give me some advice I would really appreciate it! I am preganant.. I just took my Folic Acid pills.. And it after mid-night... can i take it tomorrow night... again or should i wait for another day Because i was out and i didn't get back until late and I do not wanted to over do it with folic acid and that the pills have 400 mcg.. and i am not sure if i would be over taking the pills tomorrow... because it the next morning when i took this pills

My period is currently 4 months late almost 5. I wasn't too worried until these past few weeks. I have an IUD so normally I can go a month or two without having one but it's never been this long. I have taken numerous HPT's and they have all came back negative. So, I was just wondering if you have an ectopic pregnancy, does it give a positive test result all the time? I haven't been to the doctor yet because my insurance won't kick in until next week. Thank you.

I weighed about 144lbs when first got pregnant, now at 22 weeks I weigh 163lbs. the doctor is not worried but I am concerned that at the end will be to much weight on a 5,5 frame....Please help...

I am being induced on Monday night, at that stage I will be 40wks and 7days. It is my second baby and I was induced with my first. I really don't want to be induced again and I would like to hear of any ways, no matter how strange, to bring on my labour....I'm desperate!!

I've heard all the usual ones..... hot sex & hot curry, pineapple, nipple stimulation, sex, sex, sex, walking, etc. None have worked and I am running out of time.

Baby's head has been down and engaged for about 3 weeks but my cervix is still posterior and closed. Well it was yesterday, hoping it has changed today LOL..

Any suggestions will be really appreciated

I am 32 and have 2 children. This month, a week before my period was due, my breasts became very tender. After a few days I got montgomery's bumps on my breasts and started to have nausea and cramping. After a week I started having a metallic taste in my mouth and have been very fatigued. Compared to my previous pregnancies, this has felt very similar. In fact, I would swear I was pregnant. Yesterday, 4 days late, my period began. However, my period was very light with dark brown blood. It had stopped by this morning and then started again later in the day, a little heavier now. Normally my periods are very heavy from the very beginning and never stop. My breasts are still very tender and I am still nauseated. I am still bleeding. As all of my tests have come back negative, is it possible that I'm pregnant? Or am I just having a weird late period?

I'm 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant and the dr told me last Weds that I'm 2cm dilated. I've been experiencing some light menstrual like cramps for the past couple of days and today I started leaking a lot of brown discharge. Could a baby be just around the corner in a day or 2 or could it be many many days away? Could I be dilating more? Is it really hard to say? My friend tells me that it's not Braxton Hicks contractions cuz then I'd feel it in my upper stomach and I would have a harder time breathing. Never experienced that. I'm having hard time timing these contractions but I think it's an irregular pattern. I don't want to call the doctor for something like this cuz I know it's too soon. But just curious how much longer you think I have.. what are some of your experiences? What does the light menstrual cramps mean?

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and he gave me an examination, telling me I was 2cm dilated all ready. He also said that he probually wouldn't see me by my next appointment. 2 days after my appointment I lost my mucus plug. I've been getting really bad lower pressure pains. How much longer do you think I have? Are these pains signs of the begining of labour?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since pretty much July of 2006 and I have a soon to be sister-in-law that just found out she is pregnant and they weren't even trying.
