nephew won't let me hold him, cries when i am near him, when before he loved to play with me.He will give me kisses but will throw a fit if i go to hold him. he is 17mths, now. His 3 year old sister loves me, and had no issues with me. My husband and I have been trying, so is this wishful thinking. My sister heard that when she was pregnant with her girl and was holding a boy that that was a sign of what she is to have, if the boy acted up while she was holding it. Please let me know...if you do!

haha, that's a cute one! I don't think I have ever heard it before. I am pregnant right now and my son (13 months) pretty much acts the same around me as he always has. Maybe that means the wives' tale isn't true...maybe that means I'm having another boy lol

All that's happening here is that your nephew is going thru a phase of "making strange".
Where do people get these ideas, anyway? A baby can not tell what's going on inside someone's body.
