I went to the doctor on Tuesday and he gave me an examination, telling me I was 2cm dilated all ready. He also said that he probually wouldn't see me by my next appointment. 2 days after my appointment I lost my mucus plug. I've been getting really bad lower pressure pains. How much longer do you think I have? Are these pains signs of the begining of labour?

It's hard to say how long you have since everyone is different. I lost my mucous plug about 3 weeks before I had my baby and I was sure that I was going to go any day but ended up being a week and a half overdue. I also had the pressure pains for a month before going into labor. Your body has labor like symptoms pretty much the whole last month of pregnancy because it's getting your body ready for the whole ordeal. So really you could go tomorrow or 3 weeks from now. It's always hard to tell. But don't worry it will be soon. Hope it goes well

They are signs but I had them for 3 weeks with my first son.Dialated at 2,lost mucus plug,bad cramping,my doc said I will not make it to my next appointment.I did make it to me next 2 after he said that.Most dont last as long as I did.

it can take up to 2 weeks after the mucus plug is gone to go into labour. if you start feeling contraction and they are 5-8 mins apart i'd head to the hospital...BABY TIME..congrats and hope you have a happy healthy baby

I started with lower belly pain and thought I was going to have diarrhea. The pain got worse and regular before I finally realized I was actually in labor.
Rest now while you still can!! :)

You are getting really close. Hang in there. Any day now! Hang in there. After i lots my plug, i had my sone a few days later. Good Luck!

I would say so:) I was in the same boat as you, and 3 days later.......I woke up to use the restroom and my water broke! No pains tho. GOOD LUCK!!!!! Congrats;)
