I weighed about 144lbs when first got pregnant, now at 22 weeks I weigh 163lbs. the doctor is not worried but I am concerned that at the end will be to much weight on a 5,5 frame....Please help...

to answer the question - no .

women can gain up to 65 pounds during pregnancy safely. 25 - 35of those are amniotic fluid and the fundus, and of course around 6 - 7 is baby. so it is only a gain of about 23 pounds or so.

Don't worry lots of women gain more than the recommended weight and if your Dr. isn't worried don't stress! If you still feel bad then watch what your eating, stay away from the starchy junk foods and eat lots of fruit and veggies. If you eat a balanced healthy diet you can control the amount of weight you gain. You can also talk to a nutritionist and they can make up a food plan for you.

If you are concerned you can see a nutritionist or someone at your Dr's office, even a nurse and they will help you come up with a plan to watch what you eat while getting all the vitamins and nutrients you need.

don't feel bad i went from 130 to 220 and really have never been able to lose that belly fat since having a baby

as long as ur doc says its ok you will be fine. they say anything over 30 lbs is yours to keep so just watch out!!
