Pregnancy - February 2007

My husband and I would like to start a family in the next couple of years. I am about 21 stone and my husband enjoys larger women...but i am wondering how dangerous it would be if we tried for a baby...thats even if i could get pregnant when im over weight.... any advice would be appreciated

im 20 weeks.. so halfway towards the pain! I know its a time to look foward to meeting my baby boy but i am terrified of the pain, the pregnancy books make it seem worse im sure of it, please can someone try and describe labour for me i know it differs from woman to woman but just a little bit of calming down would be nice :) x

I am 6 months pregnant and I have noticed that my breasts have started to leak. It's like a clear liquid. What is this? This is my first pregnancy so I don't really know much about this stuff.

i love my fella already have one toddler, but i have lost my sex drive i feel ugly, my bits an bobs dont look right, i feel dirty an horrible ladies ithink you will know what i mean an the thought of sex makes me feel nervous paranoid all sorts shall i just give it a go, ang help please its doing my head in my fella always tells me i look sexy etc its not him you know its me

The flight is only 40 minutes. Midwife has gave me the go ahead. Has any else flew at this stage and did they have any problems?

Just a straw poll, I am 28 weeks pregnant and I have no sign of stretchmarks or the brown line (linea thingymybob) - my mother also got neither of these, did anyone else out there not have these? I am not in the least bit bothered, esp about the stretchmarks, but all my books mention it and wondered if it was a rare thing or whether there were loads of people that didnt have either.

i have been losing my mucus plug for almost a week now a little at a time. i am not dilated or effaced or having any other sighns of labor. will it grow back? and when? i am 25 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby.

My last period was January 9th, I have a 35 day cycle and chanced doing a hpt this morning (9dpo i think), and it was positve!! I have just done 3 others all different brands and they all came out positive after 30seconds!! i would like to know how many weeks i am? got an appointment to see the midwife Feb 19th. thankyou

my partner normally pulls out but he didn't just this one time and now Ive been feeling real sick to my stomach for days vomiting and the other night i felt dizzy and nauseated i have been felling this way ever since the day after, I'm also feeling very tired i started what i thought was my period but it only lasted for 3 1/2 days it was very light then i started spotting my stomach fells really weired like um.. i cant even explain it just this funny sensation is it possible that I'm pregnant or am i just loosing my mined ?????oh this has all been going on for about a week or more

my boyfriend of 6 months and i have been having sex for about 3 months. the we haven't had sex in a week and a half, but the two weeks before this we has sex 3 times in 2 weeks and 2 of the 3 times he didn't use a condom. then about 5 days after the first time he didn't use a condom i got sick, but my friend who was stayig with me did too. then two mornings after that i was nauseated, but the day before i had been when some family who had all had a throwing up virus. i haven't gotten sick anymore and its been almost two weeks. my period is due from the 5-10ish this month[im not that regular] and lately i've been having lower back pains, but i've been playing alot of tennis and my serves cause my back to bend irregularly, also i was kinda tired today but i was up late everynight this weekend. i've been pooping alot [TMI] and i think i've been having mild cramps. from these facts, do you think i'm pregnant?

Hi! Has anyone had to get their cerclage taken out at 38 weeks and if so, how soon did you go into labor? I get mine taken out in a couple of days and the doctor figures that I will go into labor that day or in a couple of days but I have read that some people don't go into labor until their due date or even go past their due date

hi i have a 5 and half week old baby. I lost alot of blood after the birth for 2 weeks and then after 4 it stopped totally. in first week i had to be readmitted to hospital with a womb infection where i stayed 3 days. Well now i have started bleeding again, its not lots but i need to wear a pad anyway i dont have any pains and now the bleedin stopped im losing discharge. Im unsure if this is my first period, but usually mine are horrificaly heavy and painful but its obviously been a while and i dont know what to expect fom my first ones after giving birth. /i really want to know as i want to try straight away for another baby. Any advice?

OK I HAVE HAD IRREGULAR PERIODS ALL MY LIFE AND I GOT ON BC FOR ABOUT 2MONTHS AND THEN STOPPED TAKIN IT AND GOT PREGNANT, I DIDN'T FIND OUT I WAS PREGNANT TIL I WAS 4 MONTHS. WHEN I WENT 2 GET A ULTRASOUND 2 SEE HOW FAR ALONG I WAS , I WAS TOLD I WAS 21 WEEKS AND 1 DAY AND WAS GIVEN A DUE DUE MARCH 13,07. NOW MY LAST PERIOD STARTED ON MAY 21, 06 AND ACCORDING TO ALL THE DUE DATE CALCULATORS ONLINE I SHOULD BE DUE FEB 25,07. SO WHERE DID MARCH 13 COME FROM? IS THA SCAN ACCURATE? WHEN DID I CONCEIVE? THIS JUST ISN'T ADDING UP RIGHT MAYBE DUE TO THA FACT OF ME HAVIN IRREGULAR PERIODS BUT IT WOULD B NICE TO KNOW WHEN I CONCEIVED. DO I COUNT BACK 21 WEEKS STARTING WITH THA DAY OF THA SCAN 2 GET MY CONCEPTION DATE OR WHAT? I EVEN TOLD THA DOCS MY LMP AND THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED MY DUE DATE OR ANYTHING. Started bleeding on monday and was sent for scan which showed egg sac, told if dates are correct then doesnt look like a viable pregnancy. I don't have stomach cramps and bleeding now more brownish 2 days on. going for scan next mon to see if any growth.
Don't know what to think but thinking the worst.
