Aren't you the girl who posted 10 minutes ago wanting to know if you were pregnant because you had a stomach cramp?

You are an IDIOT. STOP posting questions about your period and pregnancy. How the heck is anyone here supposed to know if you knocked yourself up because of careless unprotected sex with your boyfriend.

Get a GRIP. Take a TEST and DONT BE SO F**kin stupid next time.

I don't know how people can sit there and give an opionion on something tha they have never experianced,i have had an a abortion and it was the hardest thing i have ever been through and till this day i will never forget it, it wasn't the physical pain that hurt but you need to be strong as the emotional pain can tear you apart, you have to know for sure you are doing the right thing as there is no going back, people may sit and say your killing a baby n all that but at the end of the day it is your descision and no one else's you do what is right for you and the circumstances you are in. It can be free or you may have to pay depending on your circumstances/or best interests. But before you make a decision think long and hard and make sure its what you want don't make the mistake i did. Hope it works out for you

Your local Pregnancy Resource Center has free pregnancy testing, aging of your baby and information about abortions. I know our local one has a video that shows the instruments and such that are used in abortions by a doctor who performs them, but it does not show actual abortions. Pregnancy Resource Centers do not refer for nor provide abortions, but since all of their information and testing is free, what's to lose?
You can locate your local center at www.pregancycenters.org. Even if you do decide to seek an abortion elsewhere, you will still need a valid pregnancy test (which is free at the Center) and you will probably want to ensure the pregnancy is viable in the first place. 25% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage and there's no point going through the time, trouble and stress of an abortion if one isn't even necessary. Pregnancy Centers have limited medical services with doctors who can assess the viability of the pregnancy.
I hope you find the comfort and support that you need!

I know alot of women who have had them - though you just seem to be getting the pro life crowd here. My sister also had one and a friend of a friend has had 2.
The cost varies by area and how much sedative you get. If you dont get sedative it can be painful but only for 2-3 minutes, if you get the sedative than it doenst hurt at all.
You can contact planned parenthood to get all the offical info and there is more than one way to do it - it depends how far along you are.
Just for the record no-one I know - and I know over 10 women who have had them - have ever regretted it, they dont feel any guilt, they have no emotional scars and they dont even think about it. They all did it because it was what was best at the time and it allowed them all to grow up, develop careers, and find mates they would have never found if they became teen mothers.
I personally think being born unwanted it worse than not being born at all.

hey
i haven't had one either
ignore what people say like "god wont forgive you" and s**t.
I've just been doing about abortion in class
it's obviously not going to be easy, i know you have to get two doctors signatures, but you have to have a proper excuse, like for example, if you say you got raped, or if your underage then thats a perfectly acceptable excuse.
its free of charge under the NHS otherwise privately around £1500.
Do they hurt? Yes,they're suposed to, but you will suffer from emotional pain more then anything else. But after all you are terminating a baby.
Just remember
please, it's your choice, don't let anyone get in the way, if you dont want this baby then it's your choice in the end, dont let anyone force you though.
Good luck sweetheart :)

I haven't had an abortion myself, but I was there when my friend got one.

She said it was a little painful, and extremly uncomfortable.
It is usally free, depending on where you live. e.g In Australia abortions are free but you need permission from a parent if the doctor doesn't think you're mature enough to make a desicion.

You can go to a family planning clinic and see a doctor, I think that is best. I'm pretty sure you can remain anonymous if you wish.

I have never had one but I do think that it is our right to choose. If you are considering one you should talk to your doctor or a family planning clinic to discuss your options (there are many different options). There are the other issues to think about as well besides the physical aspects (you need to think about the mental toll it may take on you) Good luck with whatever you choose!

I've never had one, and only know one person who has....but then again, she was forced to by her health, and was an adult at the time.

You need to talk to your parents, your clergy, and your doctor. The internet is not a good place to get advice on such a personal issue. But above all, you are the one who has to go bed with yourself at night.

I have never had one. But depending on the circumstances, I really think the best answer would come from a family planning clinic or crisis pregnancy center such as Planned Parenthood or google local crisis pregnancy centers in your city/town for a phone number to contact them. They can get you the straight answers you need, as well as offer emotional support for whatever decision you decide to make. ((((((((((to you)))))))))) and good luck with whatever you decide.
