the only way to not get pregnant is to not have sex. and if your still going to be fooling around with a guy and not have sex make sure he puts a condom on because if any of his juices get near your vagina you could become pregnant (not too likly but has happend)
Any time you have sex, no matter what you use for birthcontrol you risk getting pregnant. Your best bet is to not have sex. But other then that get on a birth control, if you can remember to take your pill everyday at the same time then try and get on the pill. there are others like the nuva ring, depo shot, the patch. they all have their side effects tho look them up in a search engine. If you do get on one of those still use a condom every time you have sex and it will reduce the chances of getting pregnant a lot.
also those birth controls dont help protect agains std's so theres another reason to use a condom even if you get on a birth control

Abstinence is the only fool-proof way to prevent pregnancy. There are alternatives and methods that are reliable, but not 100% effective...talk with your doctor, they'll find the one that's best for you.

the pill or the shot is about 95-99% effective
i have an iud, which is 99.9% effective (i got pregnant on the pill)
