Pregnancy - February 2007

i am getting EVERYTHING i need for my little girl who will be here early may. i was wondering how many packs of new born diapers i will need, already have 1 with 96 diapers in it, size 1 diapers, have one with 216 diapers in it.... also have a crib, changing table, crib set, rocking chair, and a lot of little onsies and pants, skirts, even a little bikini!! what else do you say i need?

i know a car seat and diaper bag, they should be coming any day now (ordered them).

I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my first and yesterday my baby turned head down. I can feel little punches in my lower abdomen, her little bottom above my belly button, and lots of kicks in the ribs. It's also gotten really hard to catch my breath.Will she stay this way until I deliver? Is this early for her to turn? If she's turned early, does that mean I may go into labor before 40 weeks? *fingers crossed*

i'm due July 13!! soo excited & its my first :) i don't know the sex yet because the baby had its legs crossed :( i was dissapointed!! but i feel greatt!! i can eat anything and not even get sickk i've never gotten that morning sickness crapp lol...i feel very luckyy & hope to god i dont hafta have it later on in my pregnancy...but just wondering when other people are due?? what ur having & how you've been feelingg!! :)

the reason for doing this is to check lung maturity.If it comes back good i am sched. to be induced tomorrow night. In 2003 i had a full term stillbirth with no cause of death, and then in 2004 complications with my sons delivery..So my ob had decided to induce at 37weeks if lungs are mature..im hoping and praying they are and was just wondering if anyone else has had one at 37 weeks..Thanks in advance!!!!!

I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins. My husband and I already have a 2 1/2 year old! We are so excited but REALLY nervous. We really thought we pretty much knew everything about pregnancy. I went for my second u/s yesterday. The heart rates were good-145 and 162. My dr. said that was encouraging. She was a little concerned about the sizes of the babies. One is measuring 8w2days and the other is 7w1d. She said that later on in the pregnancy-this would cause for alarm, but she's not sure if it's really a big deal right now. So she has referred me to an at-risk specialist. They decided not to see me until I am 16 weeks. So I am thinking it's not too big of an emergency. I am really scared though--and concerned. I know that I will worry the whole time, but I was wondering if anyone else has had twins with measurements like these at 8 weeks and what your dr. said.... Thanks!

i am a week late getting af and everytime i go pee i check for it, but i seem to be getting a dicharge insted, yesterday it was thick and creamy and now today it seems to have a watery texture insted. is it possibe to ovulate when you miss a period or is this a sign its comming very soon?? dont understand?? also i know its NOT an infection. it does not smell or itch. thanks

I am currently 12 weeks pregnant... and I work 44 hours a week (avarage) ... and I have class 20 hours a week (in the evenings) ... with about 6 hours drive time per week......

I have the weekends off......

Here's the facts: baby #1-had a few suicidal thoughts, saw a counselor, was perscribed Zoloft, took it for a year then quit.

baby #2-got pregnant a few years later. After her birth I had major hallucinations and paranoia. I hid myself from the world and just wanted to die. Saw many people about it, they all said it was Severe Postpartum Depression. I didn't take any drugs for it, just counseled my way into sanity. It took about 4 months for the paranoia and hallucinations to stop.

baby #3-I'm pregnant with baby #3 now. 26 weeks pregnant. By the request of my midwife and counselors I have notified everyone close to me that I should not be left alone for more than a day after baby comes.

My question- Is there any way to prevent this from happening again? If you went through it, what did you do to calm it?

My life has changed tremendously since the last baby. Any advice and experience would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

okay i'm 14 days late +/- 2days and i feel quisey and i'm lighty spotting with light cramps off and on for about a week. but the hpt that i used showed a neg and i called my doc and she thinks more than likly i am pregnant and to wait a few weeks if i miss my 2nd than take the test again. I'm confused cause on my son i took a hpt and it showed positive when i was only about 16 days pregnant. so I dont know am i or not cause the axiety will kill me

I'm married, but my husband and I were not planning children. I am so nervous and worried, having anxiety attacks.. I don't feel happy about the pregnancy at all. I feel like such a bad person. Is this normal?

And i have no signs yet I am extremley nervous b/c i had a MC in 10/06 at 9wks and i when i was preg then my breasts were really sore. I did not have any signs of a mc it was not until i went to the DR and they did not find a HB that i knew i had a mc.
Any advise for me?

I have been reading a lot lately about birth plans. My doctor has never mentioned one and neither has anyone i know that has recently delivered. I plan on asking the doc if i should be creating one but what is your opinion on this? Did you have one? Did it help?

You have women coming on here asking if they can eat certain foods and the pregnancy police come out telling them...no deli meat, no soft cheeses, for gods sake not a drop of caffeine, etc...and then you have people turning around saying a little alcohol isn't bad while your pregnant. Or how about those who freak when a pregnant woman takes medications while shes pregnant, meds prescribed by a medical doctor with a *gasp* medical degree, sure they are not superhuman but most of them know a little more than the average person about what is and is not safe!

Since no one knows exactly how much alcohol can cause fetal alcohol syndrome how can anyone condone any amount at all, but go off on a woman who wants nothing but a subway cold cut sub with some sort of soft cheese on the side and a diet coke? This has not happened to me, but I see it so often on this site and it really makes no sense to me at all, can someone explain?

My little sist'er Last LMP was 12-8-06 &she's not sure who her baby's father is if it's her X's or her current BF..Could she have gotton pregnant @the end of December or the middle of January..??She's 24 yrs old.I think she got pregnant at the end of DEC..she went to the ER last night ,she's okay know. Ok...know this may sound stupid but I use Immac Veet Cream to do my Bikini line...anyway im now pregnant and although it may sound stupid I was wondering if its safe to use or would the bleaching agent from it be absorbed through the skin because im required to leave it on for five minutes? Thanks guys, and sorry that you all now know I use that for my Bikini line!! lol
